18" wheel options in Australia

I'd like to swap my 20" wheels for some 18s. Has anyone found any decent aftermarket wheels for a reasonable price in oz, or a source for OEM 18s at a reasonable price? Been checking eBay, gumtree, etc but haven't found anything which suits yet.

Re: 18" wheel options in Australia

Last time I spoke to www.geckowheels.com.au they said they would have 18 inch rims later this year, they where very helpful when I tried to get a set of there 17's to fit. Keep your eye out on ebay, there is a lot of GC wheels starting to appear, I picked up a set of Laredo 18's for $400 last week.

Cheers

Re: 18" wheel options in Australia

I bought a set of 4 OEM wheels from the States from Factory Mopar Parts, see Factory OEM Parts . You can also get them from JustForJeeps 2011 - 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Wheels - Shop Chrome, Aluminum, and More . The 18" wheels I got are polished aluminium wheels Mopar part # 1HX65AAAAB and sales code WPD. When I was looking I couldn't find any after market wheels. My Grand's wheel specs are:
Wheel: 18 x 8
Stud pattern: 5 x 127mm
Offset: +56.4mm
Hub Bore Diameter: 71.5mm
Studs: M14-1.5
The offset doesn't need to be that accurate. Anything in that ball park would probably be OK. My guess is that your 20" wheels have the same specs but you will have to confirm that yourself.

There the same as the 4 I got of Ebay with caps and nuts for $400. Just be patient and you will save a fortune.

Re: 18" wheel options in Australia

Try Paul at Claremont Wheel Power (Sydney) for OEM Laredo 18"s. He sent me four brand new ones off a pre-delivery car for $620 plus $160 to my door in Perth. I see some people doing better with pricing, though I haven't seen them pop up where the seller was willing to box up and freight.

Also got four TPMS senders for around $100 from "Wheel_Man" on eBay.
Dodge Chrysler TPMS Tire Pressure Sensors SET OF 4 Free Shipping | eBay

Getting LT General Grabber AT2s fitted closer to my departure to Exmouth / Coral Bay / etc in early December. These will be $360 a corner from Claremont Tyre Power (Perth).

Having comfortable and tough tyres... priceless

Ciao,
Steve

Did Paul call you or did you chase him up? He said he'd call when he got some more in but I never heard anything.

Re: 18" wheel options in Australia

I had to chase him up mate... a few times Once he had some wheels to target it was smooth sailing. Hit him up again.
