Mate could you post up those specs if possible?
Looking at getting new tyres put on mine tomorrow, so would be great to know everything is done correctly :-)

Re: 20" Tyre Thread

Had the 285/50/R20 Zeon LTZs installed yesterday... they look fantastic, but yet to take them offroad.

Wheel alignment was out so far the shop guys asked if I'd been in an accident!!!

Will take it back to be rechecked if someone here can prove them wrong cheers.
Check this thread Wheel Alignment Specs JGC with Quadralift
Give wheel guy the only preferred value and tell him to get as close as possible. Never give him the acceptable range or he'll do nothing if he is anywhere in the range and still charge you.

Re: 20" Tyre Thread

My turn is up boys, Khumo's at 53,000 today.

I noticed this tear over the weekend where a puncture was repaired at the shops some 5 months ago.

I have also attached the Caster and Camber recommendations for the Wk's, and highly recommend going to a 4x4 Suspension shop over a typical Tire shop. I've wasted heaps of time getting a typical shop to work on bring the car back into line without success. That includes the Jeep dealer too... Simply none know better than a 4x4 specialist. One shop even said the camber couldnt be adjusted. Yes, it costs more for a 4x4 specialist to align - but well worth it.

Well in the document, it will show you how to.

Oh, Based on this thread, I'm looking at the Nitto's. Should I get the same size as the stock? 265/50/20's? . If it wasnt due to this crack looking split, I think I could get another 5,000k's more.

I will go offroad 2% of the time, gravel

Is that 53,000 miles or kms? Either way it's the best I've seen out of the Khumos. Maybe you live in a cold climate. I totally agree with your wheel alignment recommendation. Stick with the stock tyre size. There is no performance benefit to be gained by changing it. As a rule of thumb, consider that the 2% of time you are off-road you are likely to suffer 98% of the damage.

53,000km. Perth climate. To and from there's office 70km distance/day on average 45km/h roads. So your likely to say I should just stick to road tyres.

Re: 20" Tyre Thread

the kumho Crugen KL33 seems to be a great allrounder, ive been more than happy with how quiet they are and very low noise. performed excellent of road and on beach sand. however i now have them for sale since fitting the wider spider monkeys as i needed larger tires for the 10" rims. i would have went the kumhos again but they dont make a 295/45R20
