Re: 20" Tyre Thread

Dropped in to a local tyre store and quoted me $314 per corner fitted, balanced and complimentary alignment for the Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/50/20’s.

Wilkinson Suspension Bayswater wanted $454 per corner.

How much noise do these tyres produce out of 10? Being stock Khumos 1 out of 10.

the nittos are going to be alot noiser than any other on road tire. i guess it all comes down to what you intend to do with your jeep.

Re: 20" Tyre Thread

Nitto's would be a 2-3 if that if the stock one are 1. The all terrains aren't that noisey it is when u start putting on muddies things ramp up. I had the stock ones for two days and changed, most of the little extra noise is higher speeds on the highway

No mate but any all terrain is going to be noiser than a hwy tread the noise comes from the larger tread blocks.

20" Tyre Thread

How much noise is it gents. Scale 1 to 10. All I picture is the odd landcruiser with chunky A/T humming past me.

Re: 20" Tyre Thread

Seriously I do not think the Nitto's are loud. As I said std kumho 1 these are at most 2-3. I am fussy with any rattles, excessive noise etc they do not worry me at all.

But hard to tell as I changed the tyres 2 days after delivery......but I it does seem a little higher than normal. Around town stop start will push to 11, highway around 8's.
