2014 Bonnet Protector

Hi
Wondering if anyone has got a bonnet protector on a Maximum Steel limited (or Laredo) that they could post a photo of? I understand there is a dark tinted one (almost black and a lighter smoked one.
Considering purchasing one but would like to see one of a similar colour first.
Any help appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks for that. Does it bother you that you can't see the Jeep badge with it on?

Yes it does, although you could buy one of eBay. I have a blemish on my bonnet which might be getting fixed under warranty. The dealer said they will have to replace the badge as part of the repair and that they will give it to me to put on the protector.

Have a smoked one on Billet Silver Laredo.

Got it in July 2013 when I got the vehicle. Was told that the 2014 ones were not available, however, the bonnet from 2013 to 2014 has basically not changed. Thus mine is the 2013 one and all fixings slotted in perfectly. All I had to do to make it fit nicely was to notch out the area where the bonnet catch sits on the inside so maybe the 2014 bonnet catch varies slightly to the earlier models. Can send a pic if required.

Hey mate. Where did you get the nudg bar? What brand and rough cost are they if you don't mind.
Thanks
Brett

Brett.

Tis a genuine original MOPAR unit.
Tis a full 2013 unit that does have some drawbacks/issues/compromises.

Was supplied as part of the deal but guess about $800 from the stealer.

Regards.

Adrian.

You needed to do the same on the previous models also.

Just poorly designed and tested before production. If I recall it took me a while to convince Mopar.

Thanks mate. Problem is, all the after market ones don't really look all that great. But it seems I may have to settle for one regardless perhaps

Re: 2014 Bonnet Protector

Where can I get a smoke one from? When I went to Northern Metro they said the smoke is now obsolete, so ended up buying the black. It looks terrible on billet silver.
