I think all CRDs get the same axle ratio.

Ughhh... what are the two diff ratios?

Is this another thing my dealer decided I didn't need to know when making our selection? I understood that ORAII in Australia was 3 bash plates and 18"s. Choosing it would have put the transaction into this financial year, and I figured I'd rather have two sets of wheels and a forward bash plate. The different differential ratio might have swayed me

Ciao!

The CRD has the 3.45 ratio differential. The 3.08 is not available (in the US anyways).

Re: 2014 Fuel Economy

CRD Overland with ORAII

Averaging 9.2.

No city driving, very little highway. Mostly semi-rural/rural roads. Average speeds between 80-100kms. A few hills each day and quite a few twisty bits.

She runs like a dream over the frequent uneven, pot-holey (is that a word) roads. In WK I feel every bump and rut - not so this baby.

My mistake - I thought the ratio was 3.09 without the ORAII. Sorry to worry you Steve!

No worries Russell. I don't recall being so paranoid about receiving incorrect information prior to purchasing the Jeep.
