Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Blackhawk

Did you mean wheel cleaner instead of tyre cleaner?

Re sealant, beware that is usually a difference between the consumer and pro products. As the pro products that would be applied via dealer will (should) be done by experienced people it is different than the consumer one which has more leeway for mistakes. As such the end results are different, the pro ones are supposed to be lifetime, the consumer ones are a couple of years (depending on conditions).

See their video on glass sealant, they only use a small amount. Did you clay before applying?
I got some Gyeon stuff when I did the Car Care Products detailing course in June. I have yet to apply it, as I was waiting for Rain-X to wear out. It has taken a while as I also coat the glass with the detailing spray after each wash. I finally need to apply something, so I will clay and apply. I apply glass sealant to windscreen, front sides and the lift gate glass too.

Yep my bad, Wheel Cleaner.

I'm thinking I just might take it to Ceramic Pro detailer out at Caloundra. Might be a higher cost but it'll save me the headaches from potential f$$kups.
Especially as I didn't clay before applying the sealant and I guess I would have used heaps.

So I might have some stock to sell if I go ahead with the pros.

I second that! Paul is great to deal with, does actually go that extra bit for you.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Blackhawk

Added some more bling to the Blackhawk over the weekend. OEM alloy "Jeep" sill plates as per Limited, Overland and Summit models

Took a bit longer to fit them then I thought due to amount of trimming that was required to the original Laredo/Blackhawk plastic sill trim. But in the end they look and fit great.

They look neat...might have to look into them.

Has anyone found decent roof racks for the Blackhawk/SRT?

Awesome...hope they look good. I'm looking for space for a SUP or kayak then will probably stick excess on SOE thing like this without having to tow a trailer: http://www.roofrackstore.com.au/thul...-p-300210.html

Nice. I'll have to check those out once you've got them fitted.
Just on something different: BCF has a sale on and I bought some XTM 4x4 rubber moulded tray mats for the front. They fit good and go way further up the footwell than the Jeep OEM moulded. $30 for the four pack.
