Hi Milous, was at a dealer today in Sydney and they have a MY13 mineral grey which they are trying to sell me but also mentioned that they could get their hands on a vapour, at the moment there are 15 advertised in car sales. They still want close to the original MSRP price. Still don't know whether to wait and order a MY14 ..... If I was to place a blind order here when will I see shipment ?
Also the sydney dealer made a comment about the 8 speed not coping with the 6.2 ? Not sure whether he is just trying to clear the stock ?? If you we're in my shoes what you do ? Cheers

I can't believe dealers are still bullshiting about the 8spd not "coping" it's just a sales tactic to move old stock.. Don't buy into it. The SRT with the 8spd is quoted at 0-100 in 4.4.. That's Porsche quick in an SUV.. I would be waiting for that one if buying SRT

Quick search hear indicates about 600 units for sale ( ha ha one days work for you ! )

The diesels are what'll sells here so most stock left on the market is V6 and V8 petrol
Hi Robo, what dealer do you work at and where ?

Thanks Robo, I really like the new unconnected and the thought of the 8 speed auto, getting sick of the crap that this dealer is feeding me..... Need to find a dealer that knows when they are coming and doesn't want to rip me off !

Also the ZF 8spd is rated to 700Nm torque (see Wikipedia ) I also posted it in another thread earlier.
Not sure how the Chrysler built under licence version will be but the early CRDs and SRTs get the genuine ZF

I would definitely wait, too many reasons not to, plus the '13s will probably take a noticeable hit on depreciation hit once '14s are rolling in. Can't pinpoint a date yet but the wait will certainly be more than worthwhile.

I assume you meant 6.4. Not coping? I'd ask the dealer how so, being that models in the U.S. and the rest of the world all have the 8 speed with the 6.4.

Totally untrue. There's not a single dealership here that would even come anywhere close to selling that many GC's.

Hi Milous , thanks for the reply, I did mean the 6.4...... It's me who's not coping ..... Bring on the Aust delivery .... I'd be happy to let the press drive it if I could get one here in 3 -4 months ???

Sorry if that confused you, I don't work at a dealer, I meant the dealer I'm buying my vehicle through.
I can PM you the details if you want.
