Pictures attached.
I didn't check under the bonnet when picking the Jeep up. Only noticed on weekend when topping up the windscreen cleaning fluid.

Chase the dealer for it....matter of principle.

Agreed, regarding chasing the dealer however they do not seem to care one way or the other.
I'm sure it will turn up. Who'd want a piece of plastic designed for a very specific purpose?
In the mean time I've been driving around without any cover on the box and that can not be a good thing.

They can take one from a demo vehicle for you. Give them the headache of chasing up a spare from CJD parts supply.

Probably have to buy a new engine to get that part - want to bet they won't sell it separately.

Hi All, after almost 12 months old, the wiper fluid is low and needs topping up. It must be a pretty big reservoir bottle! Does anyone have any recommendations as to a good quality additive? The factory additive always did well to clean the glass, but not sure if its available here. Appreciate any feedback!

Best one I've found is made by Mercedes. 40ml bottle called "SummerFit" windscreen washer concentrate. Not too frothy and cleans well. Costs $4 - $5, and one bottle is more than enough for a jeep size washer bottle. I mostly only use 1/2 a bottle of concentrate.

I'll be very disappointed if that is the case.

If it's missed in the plant, no hope it will turn up; if misplaced by the dealer, it will probably end up in trash bin.

Mate are you serious! repco bursons supercheap autobarn actually any servicestation or auto store has numerous brands on the shelf, eat your heart out its only washer fluid, why do you think the factory fluid was anything any different? Most service centres set themselves up with a bulk supplier so it coyld be any brand.

Some work better than others, some are also ideal as they don’t eat into the wax coating on the paint. Then there are those like the Rain-X one that also offer a hydrophobic effect.
