Seems there is a TSB for the ECO mode button default:

So it is, I only read: built on or before August 14, 2014

I'd prefer it to either have a soft radio off button, or remember if the mute button is pressed.
I'd also like it to remember which media source, ie I only have an SD card, but it defaults to USB...

Hmm, I don't get these issues, I use USB, it always goes back to USB, and the temp is always what I have it set to.

One annoyance is the shuffle button doesn't remember I want shuffle....

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I can't work out the temperature thing. It holds it fine for ages... then one day it is different. I only use one key too...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Our temp stays the same, shuffle always stays on, but quite often it will revert to CD instead of USB if im flicking from radio to media, with USB being my last used option. Go figure (missus has a cd in - never gets used though)

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I have a question for the MY15 Grand Cherokee owners. Does your Navigation recognise voice input commands?

Our MY14 GC Overland doesn't but my MY15 KL Cherokee does, so I'm interested in as to whether the MY15 GC has had this functionality added.

When my Uconnect died it remembered the setting it was on until the day before I left for QLD when it changed to demist on the windscreen only, on the hard buttons there is no mode button, where if you are using the touch screen you can change mode (demist, dash or floor vents), at Broadwater (the one below the Gold Coast) on the way home in 42 degree heat with the two 80 year olds in the back and the other half in the front freaking out about the heat we stopped for a cold drink for 10 minutes, got got back in the car and the frigging thing reset itself to the lowest temp at the highest fan speed from every vent so the next (what seemed like a million kms back to Wollongong) we had to put up with a cold jet engine blasting away inside the car and we were all freaking out.

We set the temp to lets say 23, when we restart it defaults back to 21. ... every freaking time.
