Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I hear you SjandL went through the whole shed hunt myself when hubby finally decided to build his dream shed , all going well until the erector who was one day into the job informs me that he is spreading himself between three customers at once so a job that should have taken a couple of days took two weeks gggrrrr. Here's hoping, all the best............................ now where is that damn my14 .

now I am just going to sit back and watch this conversation between you two to see how it develops.
I must say that I do find that managers comments a little "fishy". Prior to My11 I would have no doubt but those comments of his appear to be at complete odds to almost all other comments, reviews, judgements etc floating around the net.

Ive even contemplated changing my order (a my14 Overland) for one, but I need it to be capable on Fraser Island. Its a shame its tuned more for the race track than the bush track.
I agree with you. I looked at the SRT as its a mean looking machine for turning heads but then I thought what would a guy my age need a launch button for. I think Quad drive II and all the other off road ability is more suitable for when I really do start taking it off road....and that is a while off when it no longer looks pristine. If I like this truck I will seriously look at the next major change model and upgrade. It is sure to really start superseding Mercs and BMW's well and truly by then with the direction they have decided to take this car. I am certain Jeep Au will introduce the Summit with the next major change too. I will then use my older second car (the MY14) for real off roading in retirement up to Cape York, Fraser Island, Bungle Bungles etc. It will certainly handle it better than its competitors even when it is a few years old.

Thank you Milous

Now please, please let one of those 61 of the CRD Overland (deep cherry red) be mine.

Oops - didn't mean 5.7L - That's our current one and I automatically type it.

I'd be interested in your statement about reliability. Where are these reports coming from?

Yes, sorry Milous - confused you there upthread. Have edited the post. Am waiting on Overland CRD (deep cherry red) just like Webber. Sydney bound - that could be Port Kembla I suppose.

Melbourne. Jeep Au just won't let those E numbers out. It's not the dealers fault.
