Badly cracked, basically on all four sides. I was a long way from nowhere, so did a silicone repair job to get home.

Dealer generously replaced FOC when I returned home.
I checked the new filter after driving home from the dealer, just a few klms. :cracked. Bloody hopeless.

So I have since fitted my own (non genuine) as the genuine ones of at least that batch are total rubbish. I've never had the rubber strip around a filter on any other car fail- ever!

Mine is OK, but I found the airbox lid had been fitted incorrectly by some ham-fisted farktard.

I guess to apportion the overall blame, it's clear that the design of the airbox lid is a product of a Weeties box "engineer" with absolutely NFI at all.

Yes, it's a mongrel design.
When refitting, it helps a lot to reach in under the back of the air box with your left hand and pull the base slightly forward, then the lid fits much more easily.

Yeah, I ended up with a similar gap trying to refit it, had to take it out and try a few times to get those tabs to slide in.

when my service guy did mine yesterday he "bent" the fuse box up a small amount to allow the top to lift higher and slide in, worked a treat, then pulled the fuse box down level.

Thanks. I don't think there is a bigger Jeep unless the "Wagoneer" turns up.

I think 5 seats will do me. Pretty sure there's only going to be 2 kids (with a big gap in between)
Steve, in case you're planning a larger family, you could perhaps wait for the extended wagoneer to arrive?

A TSB? Not too sure what you're referring to but did you mean that it's a:
  • Trunk Signalling Buffer?
  • Or was it Take Some Bucks for Jeep Chrysler?
  • Or Ten Spinning Bananas?

I think we should see if there's a Technical Service Bulletin for this acronym..

GPS Query
My GC is a 2013 model to date I have been told that there are no map updates available yet.
Has anyone had a map update ? I am having problems in my area where I get the message ' off map, no roads shown', plus the speed limits are incorrect.
