Yeah that could be exactly it. I have a quick trigger hand

Anyway, cars going in on friday see what happens. As of this morning the check engine light was still on.

  2. The Overland's trims are made of a thinner plastic but in a smooth finish,
  3. I plan to go off-road and I know that mud and sticks etc will scratch the surface of the trim,
  4. And the real reason, I think the black contrasts well with the white.

I think as humans we're at times never happy. I know some large chested women who have had a reduction and other girls who've gone the other way.

I had the same issue with chips on the rear trim whilst travelling off-road, so I went for a set of rock sliders.

Do the sliders stop the road grime etc up the side of the car when it is raining?

Cheers, Craig

Thoughts on this replacement rear view mirror glass?

Since installing the rock sliders, I've also replaced my tyres with a more aggressive tread (Bridgestone D697). I've been through some local National Parks in WA and have noticed less road grime up the side of the vehicle but until I head further on the red tracks of WA, I won't know how well they go. It was one of the reasons I decided to install these from Uneek. I'm also hoping it will better protect when on sand as well. If you like playing in mud, I'm not sure it will matter what you install.

I'm heading off on a 2 week drive through outback WA in September where I'll be able to better answer your question.

I must say Butts_Oz they look butch. I like it. Did you have to replace the lower trim to install? Where did you get it?

The lower trim needs to be removed for these sliders to be installed. Unfortunately I don't have my tools with me in WA, so I had them installed by SBR Offroad in Perth. You can get more info from http://www.uneek4x4.com.au/rock-slid...-cherokee-wk2/

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Moron today at K-Mart Tyre and Auto after doing my alignment proceeded to tell me I needed camber bushes because of the amount of positive camber i had and he couldn't adjust it enough.
I asked what setting he put the air suspension in and he said the highest one...... yep 2 inches of lift will do that to the camber.....
Didn't bother arguing and didn't want him to fix it so just paid and left.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

This does tend to be a real problem. I use Bob Janes in Hornsby, and they seem to be very good. But, not only did I tell them about the correct suspension setting, but that the Uconnect version I had installed does not match the book, in terms of how to find the menu item for selecting the suspension settings. It also resets the setting after ignition off/on, so I couldn't set it in advance for them. Given that all makes have different setting processes, it is really demanding on these independent guys. But even if I liked my local,Jeeep dealer, they don't have alignment capability.
Thanks,
Russell

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I knew as soon as he started to argue with me that I was wrong I didn't want him to fix it.

Bob Jane in hornsby went down hill after Ricky left, he was really good but now the other two are useless.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I've only been back once since Ricky left, but that was only for a couple of tyres, not an alignment. He went somewhere on the Central Coast - do you know where?
Thanks,
Russell
