I noticed that too and found it very odd considering all MY15s should have DAB. I thought it might be a generic pic they used but the trims are silver.

Correct they have gone to silver trims for the MY15 Blackhawk and Altitude.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hi Guys,

I'm hopeless searching on the Search Tab above. I never seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm therefore asking for your collective advice. Is there a safe way to remove the panel that has my sub-woofer attached in the rear left side of the boot? I can't seem to find any screws and I applied a fair amount of pressure trying to pull it out shy of breaking it.

I just want to see what's behind it as there seems to be quite a bit of space from the panel to the outside shell of the car - something like 300mm + as I'm trying to search for places to put in accessories, i.e. :
  • Inverter
  • Second Battery
  • DC to DC charger

Of course, I won't be able to fit them all in but I would like to find "Spare Spaces" (other than between my ears - as my wife always says..).

I know there is a fair bit of space under the Jeep (where some have attached a long range tank) but you can't put electronics there due to moisture concerns. There was a guy on Jeep Garage that built a dual battery under the car but he said that it was too expensive to produce commercially.

What about the left rear side? Is there room there? I know the fuel hose is there but not sure how much space it takes.I really would like to find some smart places to put stuff.

Any suggestions?

It's true, there were approx 834 new threads started on this site as a result of it.
Nothing to worry about for anyone really, especially anyone outside the US. But a good warning for the industry to get their shit together and separate systems.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Another thing... (and I did try to search for it) did every one get a steel wheel and not a mag as their spare? I would've thought that the spare would be a mag like the other wheels.

I got a steel, and from others comments, I think that standard. Also, an alloy won't fit in my wheel well as the spokes hit a hump on the bottom. They will fit outside up, but then the tool holder has nowhere to go.
