My understanding is that the MY14 Larado, will use the same DRL setup as the current MY13 GC's.
Hi allypally, not sure if this is correct, my build sheet clearly states LED daytime running headlamps. Perhaps the build sheet is in error but I don't think so. The type of LED light remains to be seen though. Will just have to wait and see when the jeep arrives.

Can anyone else with a Laredo build sheet comment on this?

The preliminary information provided by Milous at the beginning of this thread shows all models with BI-Xenon HID Headlamps and LED Daytime Running Headlamps

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Where's my Jeep? (just kidding) I'm sure it's on its way.

I had a moment today is all - at school pick-up time. There was a bit of a Chrysler moment happening in the carpark.

All in a row - a Nitro, a couple of MY13 GC Limited's, an GC SRT and a GC SRT Alpine. I want my MY14 to complete the look.

I parked the '07 away from that lot - it somehow didn't quite fit the picture.

So, while my old order is being tracked with a status of D1 (not built yet), I will now have to wait for a new Enumber. BUT, all is not lost, as the dealer had a White CRD Overland in the system as a stock buy, but was able to change this over to Cherry/Beige, supposedly with a May build estimation, so overall, with a ton of luck, might not have to wait more than a month longer that originally estimated (I must be an optimist!!)

Now the bad news - I tried to get the CD in the centre console deleted as it looks like a crock to me!! - but no go, seems it cannot be deleted as all Australian GC's will come with this obsolete antiquated cumbersome misplaced useless piece of junk!!!

Good on you. You know my story. Rejecting the wrong colour has added about 9 months of extra wait but I would have regretted black over Light frost. You want to really enjoy your ride. As a reminder of the detail easily seen with the lighter upholstery I have posted a video of my car again, if I will ever get it.
I am one that is glad to have the CD...I have not caught up with the modern technology yet. How do you use those M3 things or whatever they are called?

Seaweedl,
I just thought of one thing. Are you getting Light Beige with Black or Brown Dash etc.
I think the Overland is standard with the Deep chocolate brown whereas Limited's are standard with Black dash & door trims. Just check a little further.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

It is really sad if we cannot delete the CD. It would be a deal breaker for me as I have a lot of crap in my storage areas and the centre console is my main area for crap like money and stuff.
I hope people find an easy way to remove that hideous thing occupying all the valuable space

Ditto (I trust you left out the sarcastic emots )

Actually, maybe (and in case) you are serious - , life in general has become very sad.

The compartment with CD will be able to be changed out to the standard console. What will be involved, and the cost, remains to be seen as part numbers are still being added into the system. And I'm sure there will be owners with vehicles not having the CD player wanting to add the factory player, so there should be a market for the factory players w/console, or perhaps some trading.

Michael, in words you appear genuine. I appreciate honesty. I have on order MY14 CRD Limited. Is there any indication when we will get a specification sheet to understand full list of detail. Also, are there many MY13 left in stock? Looking at car sales I still see over 100 available.
