I believe you can get the biege/light frost but with black dashboard and trim on doors whereas I think the Overland has the deep brown coloured dash.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I think the comments above say it all. I love my Jeep - it is my daily work vehicle as well as suiting our weekend pursuits. I'm lucky enough that I change over every 2 - 3 years. In the past I have had sporty Commodores and I have just changed over without thinking - they suited my circumstances at the time and were a no brainer just to get another, never had a problem with them. But as good as my Jeep is the crappy after sales service has really made me think hard as to if I will get another. Jeep Aus have been lucky that they have had a vehicle that sells itself. Weather that business is sustainable in the long term is related to how well they service existing owners and convert them into repeat business. It is not good enough for dealers and Jeep Aus just to be order takers then ignore owners and stick their head in the sand when issues arise.

Jeep are marketed on lifestyle and being something special - not just boring transport. I didn't by a Corolla. I expect Jeep to back up their marketing, fix their crap service, get some decent people in dealerships who have some product knowledge, get some spares in the country at a reasonable price and really engage with owners.

Hi Paige, it's me again. The colour combo quoted above sounds very different. Do you have a photo of something like this?

Sorry to hear this Paige. Just goes to show other dealers are not as switched on as you. More power to you and tell 'am to drag themselves into 2013. To suggest retail business can ignore social media is plain stupid. Toyota are already selling cars exclusively on the net, so for dealers to think the old bricks and mortar model is sustainable paints them as dinosaurs.

Its OK. I go to work to work. Not go to work to wait for sales. Also I like to think outside the box.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I can't work it out. Car salesman have been at the bottom of the "ethics & Honesty" list of businesses for more than 30 years. What other sort of business would take pride in itself being in that position. Most business' strive to be at the pinacle of ethical standards. One can only imagine how refreshing it just could be to see the motor industry trying to change direction.
