So a warning to those who have not received a E no. - Have your dealer

Sorry for this info, but best of luck
Pretty much my thoughts exactly.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hi All. I had a lengthy chat with a CJD Dealer yesterday and that person said, without a measure of doubt, that all of our Production Sheets for the various models supplied are incorrect and that we should not expect much difference from the current MY13 is offering, other than the headlights and 8 speed transmission. We have all been misinformed. So bascially, we are being either being misled by Milous and a host of others at jeepgarage.org or the CJD dealers are being misled by their management.

In readiness of the end result (as the proof will be in the pudding), I have therefore attached the following appropriate recipe that I believe will be pertinent to share:

Humble Pie Recipe

When you read the ingredients, we'll wanna make sure that we're right!!

So when we pick up our cars, perhaps we could pass this recipe on to our local misinformed CJD Dealer,.. perhaps??

Same story with mine, Ordered and paid deposit for CRD Overland 13th November 2012, been chasing dealer for E number since early April, After many assurances that car definitely ordered and B/S stories of how and when E numbers are issued he calls me last Friday says just found out order has not been processed, no problem though he will simply reorder and should all be OK for October delivery, Not even an apology.

Good warning Sanddune, without an E number anything can happen.

Webber, You might have some competition for the longest wait for a new car.

Maybe the salesman should switch to selling lead pencils. Based on his apparent IQ, it would be much easier for him to provide his customers with accurate information on the product he is selling.

I think you are way too harsh on the poor guy. He has probably only seen one from a distance, as no one has shown him how to open a door to get a closer look.

Anyway, the challenge for him would be to find the end of the lead pencil, so I doubt if that would be a good career choice.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Funny how many orders Jeep AU seem to loose. I seem to remember many people who have said the same thing, myself included, when we placed orders.
It might be time for Jeep AU to remove the paper shredder from below the fax machine, as too many orders are being "lost".
Lets hope the new girl has a clue how to run a company, as Clyde had NFI.

Australian Veronica Johns appointed president and CEO of Fiat-Chrysler in Australia | News.com.au

One thing we have to keep in mind is that she was the former "sales Director" - translation "Director of BS"....

Lets hope she does something about customer service and not just look at sales as they kind of hint at that in the article. Quote " Johns says it will be difficult to maintain the company's rapid rise in sales over the past three years but expects steady growth with the arrival of key new Alfa Romeo and Fiat models, and better supply of the in-demand Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler."

I for one am not holding my breath....

Max2007 and Sandune.
I have just copied and pasted your posts and emailed them to my dealer.
I feel sorry for you guys the way you have been treated. Believe me, "I know the feeling". I have not had a car now for over 12 months.
However, I have nothing to worry about because my dealer has constantly assured me that Jeep Garage is nothing but Crap and not to believe anything you read on this site so I know my car will be delivered in June/July as promised.

Hi All

Jeep Australia are not going to give the dealers E numbers until they are sure that your car has been processed through. Also with DIESELS, America has preference over Australia. We are hopefully receiving E numbers at the end of the month. Time will tell. Just have to hold your breath for a little bit longer.

Regards,
Paige
