I am pinning my hopes more on that second ship as I believe the first load will be demonstrators. Departed 15 days later so if the same timetable applies should be in dealers in Sydney around June 22. Says he with fingers and toes crossed.

Milous, any breakdown of models in that second ship? Apologies if that has already been answered in this rather long thread.

Per post 1765 dealers should start getting them starting June 7th. I'll see if I can get more info.

Absolutely SNUKE, the Oberon goes hand in glove with the MY14 JGC.
Synonomous you may say even.

Without the Oberon, how would the beloved MY14 GC get here??

Noah's Ark??

So pray for the safe arrival of the Oberon and all who sail in her and we shall all be saved.

Dont forget Snuke, Oberon was King of the Fairies, and yet the MY14 may still be only but a Fairy Story to us Downunder,

Although I believe the MY14 IS only a Fairy Story still to Chrysler/Fiat/Jeep/Dodge/RAM/Alpha Romeo AUST (or who ever theyre called this week)
Perhaps we should give Veronica Johns a call to let them know that their Fairy Story is coming true after all and the Oberon has burst their bubble.

Roll on/Roll off Oberon!!!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hey guys, I have a question regarding the HD radio feature on 8.4" uconnect? Does the HD refer to digital radio? Will the option be available to Australia and will it work wth our radio standards (for example DAB+). Maybe this is a question for Milous.

trajcem, do searches on the 2014 Grand Cherokee Features and Changes thread for any technical info, this is on Page 1 of that thread.

Milous has already answered your question.

- HD Radio (DAB/DMB - Digital Audio Broadcasting, Digital Multimedia Broadcast for export markets)

Thanks, I remember the comment. My question was more specific in reference to standards. The Australian standard is DAB+ and the links comments refer to DAB. Beleive it or not the + makes a difference and in early days some DAB devices didn't work on our network.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Am bored now. Reading this thread seems like DeJa Vu.
Thinking of starting a MY15 thread, to discuss why Jeep Aust are keeping quiet about it, and when we can expect it to be shipped.
