Yes they are taking orders and current pricing is subject to what ever you can get out of your dealer. I ordered an Overland CRD with the caveat of it costing no more than $1000 on the current list price with the current minimum specifications of the 2013 model (also subject to my lease company).
For example, ordered 10 April and mine was built last night. Whilst there will be a wait before it will arrive in Aus, it is anticipated here late June or early July. It has to pass customs, so if all goes well, I'll see it by August. So that makes it 4 months from order to delivery (let's hope).
Sounds to me like we both used the same dealer. The caveat sounds extremely familiar!!!
I spoke to my dealer today and updated him with my current build status. The work Milous does on our behalf is fantastic. I think my dealer accepts the fact I will update him with what is happening with MY14 Overland. So mine is now on the slow journey to Australia and if lucky will see it arrive on our shores late June. Maybe sometime in July I will be on the road to success. I was told to expect a full release by Jeep Australia in July when there should be some stock on hand to test drive. I can confirm that my order was updated from stock that was pre-ordered, you just need to get in early before the vehicle gets to D1 status at the factory.
