Shipping IS happening, the OBERON left Curtis 15th April, Salome 1 st May TUGELA 5th May TAIKO (with my JC) today, and TAMESIS due to leave on 19th
Milous told us that ships would be leaving weekly, heres the proof.
Just another thought. Obviously hunderds of GC's are now flowing into Oz. We have some 50 dealers Australia wide, if they took 10 GC's each, that is just 500 cars. My point is, there seems to me to be STOCK, and plenty of it.
My final point. When in business, cashflow is KING. NOBODY can sit on stock for long, somebody up the line want his $s. I honestly believe we will see some REAL action soon. Just my thoughts, but hell, im happy
Cheers Barry

The dealership I have chosen has 3 outlets and they have over 70 orders on the way plus yard stock, soso I believe 10 vehicles per dealership is a gross under estimation

....and allypally, are you prepared to mention price, how many times you have actually used it. You have confirmed NOT ONE CHIP. Are there any rub or wear marks etc? Does it flap in wind. What preparation required to fit it and how easily/quickly. I know the Mopar one required removing a couple of screws from the car to facilitate its use.
Sorry allypally....a lot of questions but I am sure I am asking questions others would be interested in reading answers to.

To answer questions,
Bra purchased: from CAR-BRA Australia - pioneers of the original Car-Bra!
Cost: Forget, but I think around $300.
Wear Marks: None
Preparation: None. Be sober helps, as well as a second person makes it easier.
Time to fit: 2mins
Time to Remove: 1Min
Issues: Cannot open bonnet while fitted
Wind: No effect
Used: More than 10 times. (1 trip to Melb return)

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Having checked my Overland build sheet, it mentions Deep Tint Sunscreen Glass. Is this only for the rear windows or will it include all windows. Traditionally Jeep haven't tinted the front windows and the dealerships like to add this to your order and price.

Most country dealers carry 2 or 3 floor stock.

As for paint protection, read the fine print. Ive had it on a vehicle before, and had to argue to get a roof repair after bird poo caused a paint stain, or should I say stain in the protective coating. They asked for evidence we washed the car with a ph neutral car wash, and also that the bird poo was removed within 24hrs of it making contact with the car. I simply argued, prove we didnt....
We had a similar experience, we had bird poo and water stains and was very pain full trying to get it fixed, they tried to tell me they only cover acid rain marks not normal rain marks and as soon as it stops raining I have to dry the car straight away. When they did eventually fix it i saw them reapply it and it was just polish/wax. Now I just wax it myself once a year and no marks.

Oberon is just leaving Auckland. It's sitting very high in the water. Hope there are some GC's left on board for you Aussies.

and type in your VIN number as the cargo ID and hit track. it will show you which ship your car is on and the due date into port. Goodluck. Have fun with the waiting....
I tried as you suggested, ie typed in the VIN, but clicking on TRACK does nothing. Clicking on the small icon to the right of my vin entry, brings up a sub box CARGO ID SEARCH. Yeah, Im confused !
