Only if they have had the "sand fix". Otherwise, they will rust on the beach.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Anyone concerned about he drop in the Aussie dollar? Will Jeep look at an opportunity to increase prices and blame the value in our currency to make a larger profit on a vehicle they know will sell?

Not really, ours was bought with a price cap. Dont think it will affect pricing much anyway. The auto industy isn't very strong and you'll find they will be very hesitant with hefty price rises. The MY14 , better equiped than the MY13 will probably only see a $1000 - $1500 increase.

Multi national auto companies work with agreed exchange rates between their overseas subsidiaries. Usually the exchange rate is set much lower and fixed. So minor movements won't have an impact.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Trajcem is correct. Jeep set an exchange price, which is generally good for about a year, so there should be no immediate issues.

I have upgraded to a lifetime membership. Expect to have my JGC limited for a long time. There is alot of good information available and some pretty entertaining threads as well. The dealer is telling me delivery will be July 17 2013. I am not convinced but according to them it is built. They have given me an E# of 5724826. Could have a look and tell me what you think is happening.

Cheers,
Mike
