In the US the base price increase between 2013 ans 2014 was approx $1200.00

For us Aussies, I kept this webpage for future reference.

It quotes Clyde Campbell as saying "$1000.00 increase over 2013 models"

Bought through private fleet. They organised the dealer for me. Gary Crick Noosa. They said it was built but Milous info says not yet. They seem to be cooperating with me and providing info when requested. Not sure if that is the dealer or private fleet who are making the effort. I still have reservations about dealing with them this is my first time through an organisation like this. So far everytime I have a concern or question I get a response in reasonable time and they alleviate my concerns. I don't think I could ask more at this point. It is now wait and see how delivery and costs pan out.
Cheers,
Mike

Private Fleet... Now that brings back some bad memories. Not really their fault though. I used them to source me a LS8 Statesman 10 years ago. Found me a dealer in Sydney, name slips me at the moment. Started to talk we the salesman, everything started to seem to be going smoothly. Then trying to get hold of him started to become harder and harder. Finally he claimed the car had arrived at the dealer, after a few days he said it was ready to ship to me in Alice Springs. I asked if I should transfer the cash now and he said no, wait until it arrives in Alice. I thought this was very strange. After a day or two I phoned the local Holden dealer to check on the delivery and how long they would need it before I could drive away. They knew nothing about it. Took a couple of days to get back in touch with the salesman, when I did he claimed the car was in Adelaide awaiting the next phase of the trip. Called the local dealer again talked to the manager, they were adamant no car was coming. Called Private Fleet back with the details. Took them about 24 to get the whole story...

Salesman gives Private Fleet a quote, PF accept the quote. Salesman goes to management with said quote. Management reject it as too low. Salesman then continues a charade of pretending I am getting a car for almost a month. I am not sure how he could have thought it would end well for him. I don't think I would have ever been happy with a pretend $60k car. He got fired, the dealer finally offered me the car at his quoted price as an "apology" however I ended up sourcing one in Adelaide on my own. Private Fleet were very apologetic and claimed they would never use that dealer again.

Hi Old Dog

I would be very interested to know if Private Fleet got you a good price. Did you get a quote from a local dealer? How much under that did private fleet come?

I used a similar firm for my current mid level commodore and they trimmed a nice $1500 off my best quote. Lots of Holden dealers around Sydney so they did not need to look country or interstate. My only reservation with them is if I get a quote from the local dealer then use PF , taking the car to the local dealer for service can be "awkward" . Or maybe I am just being too concerned for dealer feelings.

Thanks Erina
