Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

You can bet the dealers will be charging full price or more for these cars as they will be sold out for a very long time. Anyone who gets below RRP for these cars for the next 2 months will be a good negotiator. Getting the mats thrown in will be a difficult ask and they come standard.

Given the popularity and waiting list RRP I can deal with (barely), more than RRP I can't ... They won't take into account I _had_ to have the new model there and then and paid over sticker price in 3 years time into account with my resale

Anyone willing to part with the quote they were given for a Overland CRD? In about a week I guess I will know what the damage will be for me.

Overland CRD $77k with all taxes and rego. As the build sheet posted a few weeks back. Not sure if its a good price, but I think its good value in comparison to other makes with same equipment levels.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

For the sake of prices, I ordered a MY14 Laredo CRD with:
  • OR2 (QL & QD etc),
  • Leather seats (done by trimmers in Aust),
  • Mats (I know, I know they're now std.),
  • Sill Guards,
  • Bonnet Protector,
  • Cargo Mat,
  • Ext warranty -

all for $56,400 on road.

Any one else get better? Perhaps if we list the prices we get perhaps we could use these for leveraging especially if they ask for more money due to the new model.

Perhaps we could even acheive the same kind of discount as a bulk order.. or am I stretching a bit too far?

Your thoughts guys?
