WEBBER

Dealer felt that as long as maintain the same models then the xisting orders can be filled without much being revisited.

Milous, can you confirm, that Jeep Aus has the RJ2, RJ3 and RJ4 to choose from but that doesn't mean they will pick the RJ2 for the Laredo, they might only choose the RJ3 and RJ4.

They did a similar thing with the MY11 - MY13, Jeep Aus chose only the Media Centre 430 and Media Centre 730N radios with HDD and none of the smaller screened units. The 430 was standard on Laredo and Limited and 730 standard on Overland and SRT8.

Do you know what Jeep Aus has chosen for the Australian markets?

Do you know if the Aus MY14 Laredo will have rear parking sensors as standard and a rear parking camera as standard? All MY11 - MY13 Aus delivered Grand Cherokees came with rear park camera.

I'm just trying to find out some specifics.

Zillajnr. What you say is what I understand to be true. I noticed that in the US the Summit is the only model with the front and rear sensors integrated with EVIC. I am hoping that Aus will continue to add this feature to the lower level models (2011-13 was on Limited and Overland in Australia) with the 2014+ models.

As an alternative, something like eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d could be added at limited cost - not as nice but... it is an alternative.

We may not know for certain until they start building retails models for Australia. The guys at the plant have said that the handful of Australian pre-production Laredo models built so far have had the RJ2 radios. Strange market that you have there, how they change around the options, not aware of that happening anywhere else, other than equipment that is mandatory in certain markets.

yes Milous, we have so many "quirky" ADRs Australian Design Rules that many models don't make it here as its all too hard and RHD which is the global minority.

have a look at what we pay for an F150 as they are grey imports ( i.e. the manufacturer cant be bothered)
2012 FORD F150 SVT SUPERCREW RAPTOR MY12 Cars For Sale in QLD - carsales.com.au - carsales.com.au

probably more than double than in the US?

Milous, I am detecting a bit of despondency. Keep an eye on that assembly line. I want that Summit. Another Aussie guy suggests there are a lot of Overlands waiting in pre-production. That appears to confirm we will get Overlands as our top model. Chrysler Australia are real "party poopers". I am now down to the second set of knuckles!

The Overland info originated from one of my posts, but it does not confirm anything as they have not yet launched volume RHD Summit models for any country.
