Maybe we just get our spares and steering wheels from IKEA!! Maybe even flat pack a full vehicle. it might get here quicker that way. Only problem is that there is always something left over.

Nice joke Milous. I think you got a few.

Let us know how the dealer explained it all to you and did he fill out a Jeep MY14 Order Form?

Sorry for being so sceptical TC0000, (not intended for you by the way) but there are a great many of us on this site who have been used and abused and lied to by the System
(read Chrysler/Fiat/Jeep/Dodge/Ram/Alpha Romeo Aust or whover theyre called this week) about the mere existence of the Jeep Grand Cherokee MY14 that Jeep Garage Members Australia are now joking (half seriously) about waiting for the MY15 model to arrive and bypass the MY14.

So keep watching this thread for further developments (maybe)

Am I the only one bored waiting and downloaded the user guide?

http://www.jeep.com/download/pdf/ug/...ad-button.y=16

There is also a 600 page manual and a 200+ page U-Connect manual.

The link above for the user guide is in colour and pretty interesting.

No, but I stopped looking when they released Version 2, figured I would wait until just before Aus release.
As for U-connect, too many US only features in that to bother looking at.

I know what you mean about the U-connect. I have US JVC unit in my current car, great unit but frustrating we don't have satellite radio in Australia. Seems like we will never get it too.

Great reading, probably the first time that I've ever bothered reading a manual. Don't even know how to adjust the clock on my 2011 Outback!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

You're all probably all aware of CJD Oz's current competition "I Saw A Jeep". Has anyone been able to download the app? I can't seem to find it for my iPhone. Anyone else have better luck?

Saw Jeep Contest Announced

I suppose it's just as well they didn't call the competition "Find a JGC MY14".

No one would've won for months...maybe at all???? hmmmmm....

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I have checked Apple and M$ and neither have it listed as an app.
I guess it is just another F A I L for Jeep marketing.

Hmmmm, not so sure Studgun m8.

Milous is right actually.

Found this item in the Jeep Manual Part number CF73925311.
This is the missing link for the steering for the MY14 JGC off the ship.

Seems true that Chrysler/Jeep/Fiat etc Aust dont want them hard driven and tested.

Bugger them all!!!!!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I know we might be trying to amuse ourselves with the steering wheel story (nice one Milous), but if you look closer at the image, there is a steering wheel there. Sadly those guys on the ships & car transporters get to drive them before us.

EDIT: and do you trust your JeepAU dealer/apprentice to fit it properly if it's not already fitted
