Why is it that heaps are getting their E numbers and I don't seem to get nothing other than the "Official" response???!!

Don't get me wrong Seaweed, I'm really happy for ya mate. It must be good to see that you're on track for a delivery.

This reminds me of when my wife was pregnant. I was really happy, actually overjoyed about it but it sort of really didn't feel real until we had our first ultrasound when we both heard our daughter's heart beat for the very first time. It was then that it became real that we were having a baby (and that it wasn't just my wife getting fat...hee hee..).

In a sort of similar way, and maybe not as important (but pretty close...) having an E number also makes it feel real that your Jeep is about to be delivered.

I suppose Seaweed you'll miss your Prado soon enough?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I dove by CJD in Castle Hill early this morning after seeing 2 car carriers on the yard. No MY14 to be found. I also noticed that there is only 1 Jeep MY13 left on the yard. All others seem to have been sold.

WE MUST BE CLOSE LADDIES! (and Lassies)

Yes, looking forward to saying goodbye to the Prado.

The goods news is my GC is built and arrived at Curtis Bay 30/5/2013, due into Melbourne 6th July
Even better, it is the correct colour combination, and even has a CRD engine!!!!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

another glowing report on Facebook.. such decent entertainment and its free ! there are 2-3 of these a day.

Congratulations !!!!
Jeep has just won the award for the slowest customer service EVER.
my car has been waiting for parts now for 2 months. (the parts were ordered on 29/05/13).
when i called customer service i was told i just had to wait because they cannot even give me the ETA.
i suppose it would be too easy to put them in overnight shipping or maybe the production line is at a stand still because of the lack of stock.
this was my dream car, i always wanted one since i was a kid.
since i have got it in late 2009 we have had to change
3 flywheels
1 differential
1 leaking power 3 days out of warranty
2 broken air vents
and this is just to name a few.
what was suppose to be my childhood dream is now crushed.
So the waiting for the parts is just the last straw.......
the car is still of the road and it is costing me $250 per week for car rental, just wondering who is going to pay for it

I am not even sure if anyone will read this but i have to express my disappointment in Jeep and Jeep Australia. We purchased our brand new Jeep Cherokee Limited from the Lilydale dealership less than a week ago. They noticed straight away our touch screen satnav/radio wasn't working (kept freezing) Keeping in mind...this is a BRAND NEW car. i understand technology can be dodgy and unreliable, but when I am spending $34,000 i expect it to be in perfect condition. A few days later (while driving in silence) we took it to the Nunawading dealership. They advise us that yes, it is indeed intact "faulty" but need to order a new one, FROM DETRIOT, USA! Advised waiting time: 6-8 weeks. Yes. 6-8 weeks, after spending $34,000 we have to "wait" due to someone not doing their job. I have expressed my issue with my dealership who are more than apologetic, who have offered free fuel on my services. I am not really seeking compensation, however- being a 21 year old and excited to pick up my brand new car- this was NOT what i was expecting. I doubt that i will ever deal with Jeep in the future.

BUNDABERG PRESTIGE Beautiful cars, friendly helpful staff. UNTIL SOMETHING GOES WRONG THEN THEY DON'T WANT TO KNOW YOU. Definitely not keen on follow up service, it's all about selling the car. We have had it back to them that many times for different things
in the last couple to months I'm loosing count. They even lie saying they only received emails a couple of days ago when in fact it was over two weeks ago. You should also physically check every part of a car for dents and scratches before you sign for it, as we discovered. Never ever have we had this sort of trouble when buying a new car. Probably should have gone to Brisbane instead of trying to support the local. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED, would not recommend Bundaberg Prestige.

JEEP AU ARE YOU LISTENING TO CUSTOMERS? CUT OUT OVERDOSE OF MARKETING AND INVEST IN YOUR PRE & POST SALES SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE. YOU CAN'T JUST RAMP UP SALES THEN LEAVE IT TO CHANCE

CITY JEEP was appalling with me. When I tried to ask about the MY14 he wasn't interested. If I wasn't after a 13 he suggested, "why don't I just wait for the MY15".....not funny.

I think someone mentioned that Jeep AU is a franchise of sorts. So when it comes to ordering parts, they have to do thus from the states, and I think you will find that they have minimum order values. That said, they probably place orders monthly, and get the economy shipping paid for by CJD USA due to jeep AU fulfilling the minimum order value.

This is common not just with motor vehicles, but all industries. I just wish Jeep actually gave us some options, such as "are you willing to pay $xxx for overnight shipping" although I believe jeep shoud cop the costs.

+1 worst experience EVER at that dealership.. steer clear

Told me the 8 speed auto "could not handle the torque of the diesel.. "
I said what about the 2 years R&D and testing and the fact that the ZF 8speed sits behind more powerful diesels in the Range Rover/ Land Rover, Audi and BMW X5.

NO F*&^ IDEA !
