Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Thanks to the German Jeep Website, Grand Cherokee I now have an fairly accurate picture of my new MY14 and it's a corker!

Just the steering wheel needs to go on the other side and this little black duck to get behind it. Hoo hoooo - love the wheels!

Not long now..

The S Limited comes standard with 20" rims and a few other bling/on road bias bits. Maybe be wishful thinking but it would make sense for Jeep to make the same models for all the RHD countries, especially as we are a comparatively small market. More people live in London than all of Australia
Does that mean that Limited buyers would have to specify which Limited version is wanted or is it assumed if a Limited was ordered it would be the "S-Limited"?

I actually studied the photo quite closely and the car on the left is a Limited. There is a missing bump to identify it as an Overland. See piccies below. Maybe there's hope for the Overland??

NEED MORE PHOTOS!!!

Oh forget that question of mine. Just asked my husband. He looked at me like I had two head. 'Yeah they do it all the time' and mentioned some Subaru rebadged thing.

Don't mind me - clearly I'm clueless.
The Dodge brand is actually being phased out in Australia. There are a couple more coming through on boats at the moment but very soon at will disappear from dealers the same as the Dodge Nitro and Calibre have.
The Fiat Freemont also has either a 2.0L Diesel engine or a 2.4L petrol engine and no more 3.6L Pentastar engine. This is a step backwards as they went to the Pentastar engine in the Journey as the 2.7L is replaced was underpowered and drank too much fuel.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

thanks Cptslobodan. Got onto German website properly this time. Notice no indicator turn signals on the rear vision mirrors of their cars. In Ausbrians pics showed we got the turn signals on the mirrors. Also noticed the Overland does not have the polished wheels, some bronzie looking colour which I do not like. Need those extra pics from Ausbrian.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Again people, get those stopwatches out for the Jeep Website boffins to see if they (photos) last on it.

Or I may get a letter from their lawyers Sue, Grabbit and Run Partners.

Hi Webber,
On the Multi Vin Summary Report for my Laredo that I received from Milous, it shows my Laredo under Optional equipment as fitted with LEBP Ext. mirrors w/supplemental Signals.
There are also a few other "surprises" I was not expecting that are also included.

Brian
