Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Good idea. I'd like to see if my hill ascent works on Ayers Rock or Uluru.

I think even a Jeep would have a tough go on that one... My vote the first MY14 Jeepfest is well away from the Rock. I have climbed it so many times I could puke.

I agree Webber. Actually, over the last few days, I was thinking about this thread and it reminded my of the movie "The Matrix". Milous would of course be the chosen one Neo. As the movie was about that life is nothing but a circle of struggling with life just to exist then dying in the end - only to restart all over again.

So if Milous is the chosen one, Mr Anderson - Neo, who would Morpheous be, the Oracle or even Mr Smith??

Yes as soon as the gates of the MY14 are wide open, this thread will suffer another death..... only to restart again in panic earnest by those who are awaiting the MY15 and demand to know from the Chosen One Neo, WHEN IS THE MY15 COMING.

It starts all over again.. sigh....

AH yes.. What a nice thought - and what a truly beautiful soul.

Auscop, my build sheet, though, says that is has ABAA Australia Equipment Group so it may just have Jennifer Hawkins instead! Now that's a Luxury Pack!!

Now the AFF package in the Jennifer Hawkins version would be fantastic.

This came up in a google search.....
Thanks iboughtajeep. I saw the above on the net but the follwing items are missing from my build sheet for the Laredo CRD:

180 amp alternator - actually 220 Amp (maybe 'cause it's a diesel),
reverse tilt-down function, & memory - No memory on mine,
heated/cooled front console cupholder - No got,
ventilated front seats - heated yes but ventilated no,
heated rear seats - front yes but rear seats no,
heated steering wheel - no got,
pwr adjustable pedals w/memory - mine are fixed pedals,
lux leather seats w/memory - no memory and leather is aftermarket,
radio memory - no got.
trunk mat - no got too.

If I did have the above, man that'd be great especially if it also had the rear power tailgate...

Does anyone know what the MY14 Laredo is going to have as it's Luxury pack?

I knew a guy who bought a house with his amex, then furnished it with the points. This was 20 years ago before they clamped down on that

Luxury Diesel SUV Comparison - Truck Trend

I think this has appeared on the net before but have posted for newbies on here to read how this Jeep knocks off Mercedes, Porche Cayenne and VW Toureg.

Mr Smith would be a Ms Smith..Ms Anne Tanner Sales Manager Northern Region Jeep Australia trying to destroy Neo. :
Seriously a sales manager who excels at pissing off buyers and wants a Salesman fired for giving information to customers? wtf:
Easy to see why we are all having such issues with our purchases. With Management like that, I have visions of their logistics guy being some yobbo who has to take his boots off when "Them numbers start get'n too big and that", admin staff with whiteout on their screens and marketing people who think Demographic is video preview.
