Ok, it's time for the big questions. We need to know answers to all of the technology gadgets for boys and their toys. Can those that review the Werribee models, I'm interested in knowing the following about the Overland:
- Digital Radio
- What was actually included in the Technology Group
- Programmable remote for additional devices (garage, security gate, etc)
- Did we get remote start from Smart Phones via UConnect
- Is their a 240v power source via the console
- What version mapping do we get and are there upgrades
- WiFi Hotspot

I think that will do for now.

Thanks Hymer for posting those pics for me. I am pleased everyone can see them. I had to keep it private as I was requested. Someone out their has a pic of the wheels too if they know how to post it. Thanks Hymer, Milous and Jeepgarage for this long long ride. This site has clearly made the wait easier for all of us. NOW TO DRIVE OUR JEEPS AND POST PICS OF OUR OWN CARS.

Much appreciated. I will ring him tomorrow and visit on Saturday. I still have not placed an order as yet because my lease company is still waiting for firm pricing. So I am very interested in talking to someone genuine and fair.

Hang on Butts_Oz, be grateful for the spy photos taken by Webber.

We were under scrutiny the whole time while looking at the gem. Lets not get technical until the release m8.

The sales crew were obliging to let us look at it let alone to get into a boys toys techno talk fest.

BTW I couldnt see where the key went to start it!!

Thanks again Hymer. Werribee Jeep had no idea I was taking those pics. That's why they were only available via PM to those that asked. I want Chrysler Australia to know that the dealer had the car hidden in the back of the showroom but I saw my opportunity.

Fully understand, but it is becoming a little exciting. I've also got my whole iTunes library on a SD card ready for playback. Over 6000 tunes. Another reason for not wanting the Console CD player.

Off to the Brisbane Camping show this weekend to see what I can afford to tow.

Can I suggest we start a new thread for Aussie car experiences

Maybe we should ask Scott or Milous for an Aussie section on the forum -separate from the "international" section

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Thanks Webber and Hymer for the photos. I rang Werribee Jeep from Perth today to confirm the car was available to view tomorrow. After I was told that it was there with two more to come tomorrow I rang John Hughes in Perth. Salesman still claims to know nothing even after I sent him the photos from Freo. This forum is great keep up the good work.

You are perfectly correct. I joined to get inside info and comments from jeep enthusiasts. Scott, Milous and everyone else who contributes are helpful friendly people and this is the bet forum of its type ( or any type ) I have seen. And I really do enjoy he company of all contributors.

I want an Aussie subsection of this forum, not a new forum. I actually thought it would allow us Aussies to chatter away without boring our international friends. And possibly make it easier to monitor Aussie happenings with various threads in one section. Our single thread on the Aust 2014 deliveries in now into ( guess ) 200 pages and going strong. Just thought it would make sense if the " I have mine" thread was new

I have paid for lifetime membership because I think this forum is a great place. No way I want to leave or change it.

You really don't have to look too far to get that thread. If you close this thread, and look at the one below it, titled WK2 Downunder, WK2 DownUnder you will see what we have all been using prior to this particular thread consuming all conversation.
