We drove the 2012 model and we were very impressed, excellent vehicle to drive, comfort handling everything was spot on. BUT.. the entire experience with the dealer and Jeep makes it so sour. Tuesday is crunch day. Thanks to this forum I know exactly what is going on and there is no reason for us not to be told the same information officially through Jeep and the Dealer. If they can't get their shit together and be honest and open with us, we will chose to deal with someone who is. Bottom line is when spending this much money you want to deal with someone you can trust.
Al, read Cars Guide this morning. It features the previous model. I really would hold off for the MY14. When you see it in the flesh you will agree it is a far more stylish vehicle. Give Shannon a ring at Werribee Jeep. What a time you would have driving one from Melbourne to Cairns.

Scott, no blame is merited to JeepGarage at all m8! We are actually indebted to the you and all of the other Admin, Specialists and lifer guys who have actually armed us with correct information on the MY14 JGC. It has enabled us to make informed decisions. (Not to forget the photos from webber and the contributions from a great gang of other members, allypally, snuke, Erina etc..)

As regards the guys who are upset, as already stated before, you guys really do need a snickers bar! We have the information but we really need the patience. I don't think we can really change the mind of a large company who in realty makes decisions based on their commercial interests. I know, I know you'll say that customer service to us is paramount and that we hasn't seen it. The reality is that most Australian don't know anything about the MY14 and CJD Oz want to make the timing spot-on.

We can count our blessings that we are kind of "experts" in the MY14 and that we'll be able to tell our neighbours everything about our Jeep.

Won't be long boys.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Members, I need a hand.

Could someone please share by PM their build sheet for a MY14 Limited with ORII (QD & QL) as a PM please, please? I have a Laredo on order but I want to upgrade to a Limited and I wanted to see what my $12,000 + extra is buying me.

to be fair...jeep USA tells us absolutely nothing until the sales launch as well. All the info we had before the sales launch was inside info....nothing was released by jeep USA....same as jeep AU

Yes and to this point Jeep Garage has actually done Jeep AU a huge favor. Before finding this forum, we knew nothing and would have cancelled our order weeks ago, simply because we had no idea of what we were getting or when. Our only issue now is poor customer service and the; I think, reasonable concern that this will continue to be the case should we have any issues post sale. A real shame that such a great product, at a competative price is made so unpalatable by the service. Jeep don't even respond to questions posted on the FB page. It is really weird. As the guy at Nissan said to me "I don't want you to buy a car off me. I want you to buy your next three four however many off me."

This really irritates me. Many posts have appeared on this USA and Aussie site blaming the purchaser for buying a superseded car. The same old "cliche" comes up...."Buyer Beware". I just feel so sorry for people who buy a car and a week or two later find their vehicle has depreciated 10's of thousands dollars when they pull up at the traffic lights to find the new release model sitting beside them. How do you do "due diligence" without a site like Jeepgarage. Many on the Aussie site have complained about dealers just telling straight out lies about a new model being imminent as they sign a poor unsuspecting person up with an $80K contract for a superseded model. I don't know about the USA but I am sure Chrysler Australia would like to close Jeepgarage down over here. They sure are not happy with the information being released on these sites.
