Laredo CRD's, yes. Body-colour grille for the Laredo E models, but don't know what they will use on the base model, production doesn't start until July and something like a grille colour can be changed at the last minute.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Overland production for Australia should hopefully start within the next few weeks, at which time someone on the build line can confirm whether or not they will have Summit features (HK system, adaptive lights). Also watching out for any more Summit RHD models (they haven't yet launched for other countries either).

Thanks Milous, thought you had forgotten us poor buggers. If when I get a E/VON from my dealer I will pass it over.. Timing is consistent with local advise, i..e March build..
From my earlier post you will see some dealers claiming demo models here in May !

You would think so.... I asked that same question and he said no, they have that info yet... What a joke.

It shouldn't make any difference, our Overland is the Summit spec wise, so pricing should be no more, or at least only the rise of the 13-14.

Any idea when SRT AU production is scheduled to start there?

Milous, I noticed the date got pushed back for the CRD production in the states. When the aus models start kicking off in a few weeks, will the CRD be going into ours straight away or will it only be V6 and V8 engines.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Interesting point, I did a build om the US site for the MY13 and now the configuration tool is up for MY14 I did the same build, this was for a Summit. The price has gone up only $500. So this should mean you should be able to get a price similar to a MY13??

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I doubt it. This is from a company who still wants to charge Aussies for so called premium paint, which is at no cost in the US. Maybe they think that we imagine they use special spray cans on the Aussie bound cars to justify that additional charge. My gut feeling is that the MY14 cars will have a increase greater than $2k. Plus premium paint charges...of course.

I think the price difference is not not so much jeep USA but Jeep Australia the usual pricing policy of charge as much as you think we can get away with policy
