Frad and Jeeptogo - happy to see you have your priorities sorted.

Current WK (or Aust badged WH as they call it here) '08 for husband and

New MY14 for me.

There will be no loading, for example, of a tonne of top soil in the back of the new one (as happened last week in the current one) I'll give you the drum.

Evil man.

Yes, I am a royal.

That is, about to outlay a substantial amount of money, do a little research.
As you say, it so well known that about ethics and car dealers that only the naive not necessarily the internet savy that would not be seeking some further info.
Be it a car, house, boat, bike, phone, watch, coffee, if you giving your money away for something have a little knowledge about it.

These forums are the thin end of the wedge, and I donít expect anyone to be involved at this level, but it never takes much effort to inform yourself about some basic facts.
I thought all jeeps were junk, 2 mins of easy to find research changed me into buying one. 5 seconds more searching told me MY14 was coming.
I donít expect sales people to tell me what is about to come, I expect them to sell me what they have now, that is their job.
If they are asked straight out about new models, then yes they should tell the truth.
The moron last night that told me there were no new Panasonic Plasmas about to be released was not lying; I could tell that, he just did not know.
He probably would have told me that it came in manual transmission version model too.

Some people are idiots, donít trust them, only trust yourself. What is the old adage; a fool and his money are easily parted.
Donít be a fool.

Definately 2014 SRT in white
Our good friends at Weribee Chrysler Jeep have several JGC's in stock and on display
The SRT was being cleaned ready for delivery to its new owner when i left
Had the multispoke wheels, not the goliath, no sunroof
They have the Overland, a Larado, and a limited in stock

Wow, I've finally heard an advantage to living in Melbourne !

Wish I was there - good suit shops too......

Just been trying to figure out he differences between models , man there is a lot of marketing crap names used in that list. You read 3 things and have to google for 5 minutes to figure out wtf they are talking about. It's as if its deliberately made hard to figure out what's different .

Hey auscop, how will black go with all that red dust. But then again what will. Hope it comes off for you cause my dealer said allocation of Overlands is extremely limited.

Nothing deals to the red dust. Our current WK (WH) saw its first 6 months driving the outback of the country as a medic vehicle for locums flown in.

We were still finding red dust through her 18 months after the fact even after it had been detailed.

It didn't matter. It's a Jeep. Doing the hard yards as its designed to do.

Blakey, Shannon rang me this afternoon to advise about the mean looking SRT their. He checked with the prospective owner and they very kindly gave Shannon permission to display it until about next Friday, that's the 1st day he is permitted to register them and the day I may be able to collect my Overland. You forgot to inform readers the SRT is white. The Laredo & limited are black and of course the Overland is Granite. I can't think of a better way to spend Saturday.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Sorry Blakey, my eyes are failing me. You did state white SRT. That's what happens when one is sitting in one of the large walkways of a Melbourne shopping centre following jeepgarage on ones mobile whilst the wife goes into all the shops....but then it's far better than tagging around behind her.

Please take pics of the limited and ask for price for the petrol (can't afford for the crd )
Much appreciated.

Red dust should not be a problem. Use to have a black Statesman. Anyway for the first year or so the wifer and I will probably be fighting over who gets the privilege to clean it. I am feeling pretty confident it will go well. The only thing that will stop it is the price.
