If you register a wholesale licence for motor vehicles $387.00
You can buy this car ex lct with the intent to resell it , you need to hold it for two years of compliance before you can legally avoid lct . This licence will also help you avoid stamp duty .
Lct is payable only on the discounted price of car and accessories , not rrp

Jeep are crap cars cause all previous models have been expensive to maintain heavy on juice and poor build quality (tinny) resale has always been an issue as well

Who must pay LCT?
You must pay LCT if the following applies:
you are registered for GST
you sell a luxury car with a GST-inclusive value above the LCT threshold.
This includes:
retailers
wholesalers
manufacturers
other business that sell cars.

And to further bore you with law - sorry

s 5.20 of the Act re accessories

It is a regular rort that goes on. Tax man has opened his eyes to it of recent and if you are not a regular trader you may get stung
Though it is a current loophole open to interpretation
The car must be purchased with the intent to resell .
If sold within 2 years you have to pay the lct.

i have a 911 turbo coming i should be able to drive them for no loss every 2 years for the rest of my life . As i should be able to sell them for what i paid after. 2 years

Can we ask who was the dealer by any chance?? and how did it compare with say the 2014 Diesel Laredo?

We havent been advised about any prices in WA (my parents have one on order), nor here in SA where i reside.

Sorry Brett, definitely not a dealer at all. I apologise for no introduction and without making it sound like an internet dating profile, I'm an university student in Adelaide, ex West Aussie, and a tad peeved that Jeep Australia FB have hidden my posts when i asked when they would release their pricing.
