it's a shame really...i would of loved my legitimate question to be answered though.

It really does make you wonder whether the AUD/US exchange rate will have an effect on final prices, especially if they're holding back prices until next week. the 'rents have had one on order since mid march (and yes, it may not have been as long as many other members in this forum), are definitely annoyed because they expected a late-may delivery (upon advice from the dealer). Pushing the delay up to mid july removes the benefits we could have gained for our business in this financial year.

The petrol models will be easier going as they are and have always been crap cars so will be more available .
Yes I know an srt is petrol though ltd numbers and specialist car .
If you want a good jeep experience and pricing try Shervin at private fleet . He knows his stuff and really try's to help .
Or a novated lease company like Fleet partners / fincar/ orix
If you can get into the fleet departments you can save some dollars
Also whoever is setting up a bulk deal had better have members deposits first otherwise half of the people pull out ......
Good luck everyone
You are 100% right old son

Told him.
A. Signed agreement from them that should the vehicle be un-roadworthy/un-driveable/unusable due to fault or warranty issue and parts cannot be obtained and repairs completed within 14 days, a loan car will be made available to us until the issue with our vehicle is corrected. My big concern.
B. Wife is not happy with customer service, lack of contact ect. Full apology then, put money where mouth is. Their stuff up with our 2012 order caused us to have to have a 2013 build and hence all the delays with the new 14. We are out about 3k so either knock that off the price, or provide accessories and extras like paint and rust protection
to that value or higher.

Lets see what he comes up with.... He has until Tuesday 4p.m. to win the wife over, then we are heading into see the nice helpful man at Nissan.

Ph I also knocked him and the Sales Manager right on their ass when they told me it was impossible to obtained detailed info on builds ect. They have some info and everything they have matches EXACTLY with what Milos has provided me. They were not happy to find out Jeep lied to them about what can be obtained through this forum. Ms Tanner has been exposed to the biggest Jeep dealer in the Far North for the liar she is.

Stay tuned for more Tuesday night.
The dealers for this company must all go to should of liars acadamy they all tend to speak the same words i think they get JEEPAFIED.

However all the shit Jeep have put us all through and my run in with the now infamus Anne Tanner, and all the issues people are reporting with parts, after sales service, and lack of customer service both on here and on Jeeps own FB page has me thinking I have made a HUGE MISTAKE.
from FB
Thought I would also post on Jeep's page as Dodge Journey (2010 model) is part of the Chrysler Australia Group. My unused tow hook snapped while vehicle had to be towed back to dealer due to electronic ignition problem with the vehicle then crashing into my garage. Chrysler Australia does not have the moral or professional decency to answer my email/letter. Very poor workmanship and poor after sales service.
and
I just wanted to tell everyone not to park their JK wrangler 4 door nose down on an angle. They leak considerable water (Well swimming pool levels) and Chrysler Fiat have no fix or do not intend to manufacture a part to fix the issue. This is the official line I was given by both dealer and Manufacturer. Find it very dissapointing as I am a jeep fan with a TJ and an order in for a 2014 SRT8 Cherokee. They left me with no alternative but to commence legal proceeding. Shame I have to sue a brand I love just to get them to listen and not be arrogant. I will keep you guys posted if interested.
and
Is anyone out here having the same customer service issues as I am. They never return calls and I have an unresolved issue that has gone on for months.

Bloody Hell!!! Does anyone here who has previously owned or currently owns a Jeep have a good news story to tell me about this company!?

Now to make matters worse Nissan have offered me a new STX-550 for $14,077 off the recommended driveway price. Have one home tonight for an overnight test and it is WONDERFUL. Goes like a rocket, handles great even in the wet tonight, rides firm but not jarring and really comfortable. Well put together and, its Nissan so parts and service are no issue.
Comes with
• 170kW 3.0 litre V6 turbo-diesel with 550Nm of torque (same engine jeep use)
• 17" alloy wheels
• Privacy glass
• Front fog lights
• Power folding door mirrors
• Smoked bonnet protector
• Black satin finish sports bar
• Side steps
• 5 channel Utili-Track System™
• Protective tub liner and rear tailgate lock

• Immediate delivery
All for $57,862 inc GST, $52603 GST exempt for Novated Lease.
Not quite as flash as the Jeep, but pretty stiff competition.

In my place, what would you guys do??
GO for it at least Nissan will call you back and you will not have to make 58 calls to Chrysler and dealer and have your new car in the dealers for 12 weeks Go for the Navara my company have had 11 of them and no probs .

However JG is far from that so your inference that we are lying is not appreciated.

And I would call you an idiot for doing that.

You do not need some one else's quote to achieve the same price, this is not price matching a TV at Harvey Norman. You just need to know that it is entirely feasible. Go in with the confidence that a price can be achieved and be prepared to walk out the door if they don't accept it.
Sorry SNUKE. If you think EVERYONE on this forum is here to help their fellow Jeep lover you are pretty naive. I do not hesitate for second to think there are people on here that make posts just to try and cause issues. This IS a random forum. I came upon it via Google, I am SO glad that I did as I have learnt SO much from it from fellow members , including you. But sorry, I completely agree, if you got a great quote then scan it and share it. I can not go to my dealer and say "Well I read on a forum where some guys cousin got a MY14 Overland for $70000." Now give me a piece of paper from Acme Jeep that says they sell the Jeep for $70k and I am all over it.

Unless I have missed it, you don't say which dealer you are negotiating with. I have been quoted $5K more at this stage. Can you share the dealer?

See my post about what a good old fashioned dummy spit can do for you. We have gone from "too bad so sad" two days ago to having the Managing Director of the dealership on the phone wanting to know what they to recover the deal. Told them they had cost us money and we want deals discounts to cover that.. Trying telling them you will pull out and go elsewhere. See how you go. EOFY deals are on at the moment, we got offered $15K off the price of a new Nissan. Either way you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Yes I think this all got a little turned around. Just typing it onto the page maybe won't carry much weight, but a copy of a dealer quote may help to get dealers to price match. Although if Jeep are like other car makers and other suppliers in general then size really will matter. A dealer in a large city moving hundreds of cars a month can likely get a better deal that someone moving three a month. So the bigger dealer has the option of passing on some of that saving to you. I looked recently at buying in Sydney or Brisbane, but by the time the car was freighted to Cairns the saving was virtually nothing. That said, if a dealer on the north shore wants 80k, and down Parramatta Rd you can get it for 70k, the dealer on the North Shore better price match. Forums like this are great for sharing intel. But we need to play smart and share hard fact, and documentary evidence. Remember who our beef is with and and who are mates are, lets not have any of this between us.
