He confirmed Monday that 17th will be my pickup date!!! Pricing is confirmed after the media embargo is lifted on the 14th..

I didn't look but my mate sat in the back and he said he noticed USB charge ports so looks good for them, no inverter which I expected as my Wrangler in the USA gets it and I didn't..

Just can't wait to get my White JGC Overland, we are now planning a trip to the snow for its first road trip and my 30th Bday in July!!

Love this Jeep!
Gold Coast Jeep let you see a 2014!? I was told there was a state wide embargo until June 16th. Did you get any pics?

My wife liked both, but the white came across as being a bit more bold. Sliver is silver (if you can say that). I think if you wanted to make a statement, silver won't do it. However, if you are feeling like you need a seniors moment, then it will blend nicely (Sorry if I offended anyone)

Didn't bother with pics, as looked the same as the other overland from Vic, however I think most dealers now have them on show.. Gold Coast had two on the main floor & I know Brisbane have them on show as well..

In person is the best way to see it.. Pics don't do justice to them!! Best car porn ever!

My soon to be garage even the colors correct, but overland not SRT...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Dog question.

Currently our two dogs have free rein of our current WK. Car parked for example to open and close 2nd gate to property, one of them bolts full tilt from the top of the hill and leaps into the open drivers door to enjoy the ride back up.

We do not want, however the dogs in the front of the new vehicle or rear passenger area of the MY14. They could be easily trained however to get into the back via the Liftgate but is there a standard cage/barrier that we can fit to ensure they don't climb over the rear passenger seats? (As they do now).

What about cargo mats etc. Would prefer Jeep branded gear. Can we purchase these things in Australia or should we get them sent from the US?

No idea how many will eventually be built for AU, but definitely a LOT more than 500. Almost 700 were sent your way during the short 2013 model year. Worldwide, they will build more Jeep SRT's than for any prior model year. If I had to take a wild guess this early on, I would say AU may end up with 1500-2000 units.

There is a Mopar dog barrier.

https://www.mopar.com.au/Pages/Store...ils.aspx?D=179

Should be available through your dealer.

There is also a full height cargo barrier too, available from Milford.

Product Cargo Barriers - Jeep - Grand Cherokee - 706025

I had a Milford in my previous 4x4 - very good quality.

There are also various removable barriers you can pck up at Supercheap etc.

Wow! Based on those figures, the dealer showrooms/yards should be full come this Friday.
