Hopefully that doesnt mean that the Laredo does NOT have a CD player.
The 12V outlet was there but no CD player.

I saw in the Laredo the inputs for USM and the SD/XD input slots but no CD player.

Createit or others, have you seen the CD player in the MY14 Laredo's that you looked at?

Bluey
Laredo definitely does not come standard with CD player and has to be special ordered. From what I heard it might be the same in the limited. There is now sd card, USB, aux and 12v in the little section in the middle of the dash. In my opinion I am happy to have a full centre console without losing half to the CD player.

The size of the media screen is a great improvement as well.

No, as per my post a standard Limited includes the CD player.
I wish it didn't.

My understanding was the CD was standard equipment for AU? Optional for US.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

In the pics posted earlier it looks like the limited has the reverse camera, but the laredo does not.

Please tell me that they did not remove that from the laredo.

Can anyone confirm this.

My Laredo build sheet does not mention reversing camera, has it been deleted in the MY2014?

From what I understood. reverse cams on the Limited and Laredo were installed at the dealership.

Has anyone else played with the rear door.. One of the things I didn't like on the MY13 was the handle opened and then activated the rear power tailgate, however on the MY14 I played with the other day. It had a button on a fake handle that opened a lot better, just seeing if anyone else found the same thing?

The limited I looked at on Saturday had the handle operate the tailgate. Button inside to close it. Didnt see any button on the tailgate.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

If I get a SRT, I will gladly swap the CD parts out with a Laredo owner.
I mean who the hell wants 3/4 of their center console used by an antique.
All the notebooks we sell no longer have them, neither should my car !!!

Does anyone know where you can get part nunbers for the pocket in the centre console, so I can get them for when I rip the CD player out.

Just while you are on the air Karla are you aware that there is Grand Cherokees like mine with exhaust fumes in the cabin and i brought a new Overland in Oct 2012 and it has spent 12 weeks in total in this time to have it pulled apart for the third time and i have not had one solitary word of appology from your company on the matter .I hope you are preparing some type of compensation to us after spending $83 k for a car that is still sitting collecting dust at Knox Jeep if no response from your company i will certainly let Paul Gover and Graham Smith of carsguide collect a story on it since Nov 2012 i have made 58 phone calls to the dealer and your company and the little or no response i have had is totally disgusting to say the least .So the ball is in your park Karla as this is to be a coporate issue to my way of thinking as iam not the only one with this issue on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland diesel.
