Perhaps a little prodding from the head office in the US may improve things.
Lets see if Jeep US answer. Spam them folks, inundate their inboxs with the complaints you have aired here. Let them know.

Wow - what a post. I think I read War and Peace in shorter time!

I feel your pain. Tell us if you get any response.

I was looking for a Laredo CRD with quadra lift, off road pack 2 and a range of other items and Shannon had ordered one in Feb with an August delivery. Was even shown its status on his computer with vin number and the works. By far the best experience I have had with Jeep. I took quite a few pics of the Laredo on display and looked over the other 3 if there are any questions.
Hey Createit
Good to hear you got a first rate resolution. I also signed up on Saturday arvo for a granite Limited CRD with extras due in mid July. I don't think I got a 'super' deal but I am a very happy man - the pricing seems to be better than I anticipated. I tossed up whether to place an order for a new build, but would have had to wait too long for delivery. I also got the VIN number.
By the way, my missus doesn't think you took her best side in the photo of the Laredo!!! Do you have any shots of the Overland (for the colour)?
Great experience - I dealt with the Sales Manager - Shannon was very busy - excellent service, personable and willing to help and share.

PM sent Colozzie. I have one pic of the overland that I am happy to send.

Tell your wife I am sorry, but all I could see was the Grands. My wife and two boys were feeling a bit left out as well with all my attention on the cars.

I am pleased you were satisfied with your outcome at Werribee Jeep Colozzie. It is still up to members to apply that "chinese burn" I referred to earlier to get the best price. However, price is not everything, as long as you are in the ballpark and satisfied overall with the experience. I know I could have got a few hundred dollars lower elsewhere but the question is do you want to actually want to GET a car. Readers here may have read how I at first purchased from another dealer and then had to crawl back to Shannon at Werribee Jeep with my tail between my legs. It's a bit embarrassing when you have to buy off the second lowest bidder....but wow, I cannot complain with Shannons (the General Sales Managers) service and hearing about your service with the Sales Manager is good to hear as it sounds like this dealership is operating with very good "customer service" under Shannon's eye. I have been a bit worried that some one on this site is going to post a response that "Webbers price" got them"ripped off". I think jeepgarage members still should at least ask for Shannon and mention Jeepgarage because I would suspect the sales staff have probably been briefed by Shannon of the POWER OF THIS FORUM (belatedly I must add). Shannon is NO angel when it comes to criticising Jeepgarage). And I do not believe "Webbers price" would do as well as SNUKES bulk buy proposal which is an excellent idea with real power but if you are going to purchase as a lone identity going to Shannon is a sort of defacto way of showing them that you are buying as a group of buyers through Jeepgarage. I am sure Shannon will know you are talking to all the other members AND COMPARING PRICES in a "switched on forum". Does that make sense???....but still shop around, remember the posts on this site, "Buyer Beware". At the end of the day Shannon is still a Car Salesmen but I do want to add....HE IS A DAMN GOOD ONE
Well later on I think I am going to be posting a story around "dollars paid" for a car that may be interesting.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

....just to add another thing. Collozzie mentions that Shannon was very busy and had to deal with the Sales Manager. You wonder if Shannon realizes that it could have been because of the influence of Jeepgarage. I have no idea but I would like to think it was and I would also like to think he now does.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Alan,
Great work sending that email to JeepUSA. You may only get a "canned response" but it may just kick JeepAU up the ass and wake them up to what the Internet & social media can do for a brand.
Many may say it is pointless writing to them, but what happens behind the scenes at management will make a huge difference if they hear it enough.

I also hope that your dealer pulls their finger out to save your sale, as the Nissan will just be disappointing in comparison.

I would urge you to take a few deep breaths because I am sure your situation should become clearer soon. You sound like the type of guy that really needs that Jeep for the type of travelling you want to do. Don't punish yourself in trying to punish Chrysler Australia.
Was the Mrs who spat it with Jeep, but after the meeting I had with the Local GM Saturday, they are trying to make amends. Speaking to her on Tuesday and have to see what they come up with. Her beef is the customer service, because of her job. My fear is parts and service. The Jeep GC is BEAUTIFUL a Range Rover for less than half the price; but not much good if it spends half its life gathering dust waiting for parts. I REALLY hope that our dealer can make up with us and we get our Jeep, but the Nissan is great (not as fancy but comfy and powerful) and the service has been excellent and I know back up is top notch. Regards the email to Jeep, I figure what the hell, we can bitch on facebook Jeep Au ignore us, we talk to each other on here help each other out they try to discredit us. Jeep Au don't want to talk to us so lets talk to the home office. Everything to gain and nothing to lose.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I was sure to tell Shannon that I had driven past 3 dealerships on my way to him and had not stopped in to even see if they had the MY14 on the floor. It was an 1:15 drive I was happy to make based on the fact that he had been pro active and made the effort to call me back which I am still waiting on a reply from two other dealers who will apparently let me know a price and maybe I can order one to arrive before Christmas.... Can't wait to be able to say sorry my money has already been taken from someone with an interest in selling cars. So if your dealership is lagging behind I suggest looking further afield as I have as they may have one on order for stock that has the special items you would like on yours. That is if they understand what will sell and take a gamble on what will move quickly.
