Thanks.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Based on the dealer's current behaviour I doubt whether there will be a launch for a face lift 2014 Jeep GC. May be just a standard ad campaign.

Isn't that gold meant to be the hues of the smoke on Mt. Vesuvius or representing the shadows or something in the Grand Canyon, and/or the reflections off the waters of the Missisippi or whatever?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

originally ordered a Laredo in bright white with Adventure pack and QL with some other extras, then phoned a few weeks ago and changed colour to Granite. Salesman in Peth just phoned back to say September delivery but can have original white or Max Steel with same option mid July. Question is I have never seen Max steel other than in photos, is it much darker than Granite?

I was under the impression max steel is more like silver and granite is a charcoal grey|black.

Thanks.
I have been told by a couple of dealers that Lux Pack 2 is available for Limited. It has the nappa leather front and rear seats plus ventilated seats in front (as per Overland) and includes a heated steering wheel.

I really wouldn't call it silver. It has more a dark blue/grey tint. I've ordered an Overland with this colour with the Indigo/Blue and Jeep Brown internal leather.

Check this out as well -

Maximum steel is like a charcoal black with lots of metallic in it. Looks a bit like really dark blue in some light. I liked it enough to get one.

You're right - a bit like the old time sepia photos. I still like it but.
There is a thread on the gold vs silver I just read - read through to the end post and the guys end up all liking the new colour eventually - got used to it.

I believe that the Lux II package contains:

8.4" Touch Screen Display (RFL)
Bi-xenon Hid Headlamps (LM2)
Automatic Headlamp Leveling System (JKJ)
Dual-pane Panoramic Sunroof (GWJ)
Heated steering wheel
Nappa Leather Trim Seats W/perf Inserts (*DL)
LED Daytime Running Headlamps (LMZ)
Power Tilt/telescope Steering Column (SUB)
Ventilated Front Seats (CAJ)

When I ordered back in January, I wanted the lux pack for the sat/nav (only way you could get it in a limited). Now the sat/nav is standard, I am wondering if I will get the lux pack or not, waiting for my build sheet from our good friend Milous, will post when I receive it.
