It was all too hard in the end. Worked out to about $2000 saved when points were converted to $$$ (and that is at 1.5 points per dollar) - maybe a bit more but not enough to go into negotiation with the dealership for. We'll pay cash instead.

Pricing has surprisingly come out at less than we thought so that's all good.

Yes good news... Funny we never heard anymore from REGINALD who stated he had it on good authority that the prices would rise by 7.5% .... Helloooo Reggie...

Also just noticed that there is now a 4x2 laredo. WTF!

I hope they are a special order, because no Australian should be allowed to drive a jeep with 2wd, even if they own a salon.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

All the talk about the Khumo tyres, I checked out the Laredo at Brighton Jeep today and they were wearing Michelins.

My build sheet for the Laredo also specs Michelin Brand Tyres shod on 18x8.0 polished aluminium wheels.

P265/60R18 BSW AS On/Off road tyres

So thats what I can expect on mine then, not Khumo's.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I tried to PM Alex, but apparently my activity is suspicious! Perhaps I need to become a financial member

I might drop into Waitara tomorrow.

Best wishes to anyone picking up a MY14 tomorrow

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Michelins on the Overland with OR pack. Per spec:

Quote:
Off-Road Adventure Group II Includes skid plates for fuel tank, transfer case, front suspension and underbody; Quadra-DriveŽ II, Selec-SpeedTM Control
(if 5.7L V8 equipped); requires 5.7L V8 or 3.0L V6 Diesel. (265/60R18 BSW All-season tyres and 18-inch Polished Aluminum Wheels
replaces the 20-inch wheels and tyres on Limited and Overland
265/60R18 BSW All-season tyres and 18-inch Polished Aluminum Wheels are Michelins.

Husband happy with that.

Also notice no mention of the 5.7 in the Laredo.

Can't wait for the TAIKO to dock with our baby on board!
Another waiting on Taiko. Can't wait. Melbourne.

Also, do you (or Milous??) know when the blu ray entertainment system will be available, and the complete stop feature will be added to the active cruise control?

I should get my quote from the notated lease company next week for a SRT, but because I only change cars every three years and the current lease is not up until November, I am happy to pay it out and wait for these features if they are not too far away.
