That was a slight error, I checked on the same car and they were scorpions. The ZR20 part looks like it says zero.

Yes I did. This new MY14 CRD is going to be a weapon. And that Nissan with "just" 550 - ha!

Very astute Captain. Hopefully more pics tomorrow before the excitement wanes. Your turn is coming.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Well hasn't that been a long and (overall) an uneventful day for us (excluding you Webber) - go you.

A bit flat don't you think? So much expectation - so little delivered (literally). It wasn't really going to happen though was it when you think about it - The LAUNCH. When is that happening by the way?

I shall appreciate driving my '08 - at least I have a Jeep to drive at moment which is a win and I love her (actually its an MY07 - for the first time the other day I checked its plates - MY07/Compliance 08) - Hung around a yard for quite a few months obviously before being bought

No one wanted a Jeep back then - Am I the only one seeing the irony in that?

Now you can't buy one for love nor money apparently (except for Webber).

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I have a question for you guys and gals "down under". Do you recall when the diesel Grand Cherokee was introduced in Australia?

If so, was it delayed like it is being delayed here in the states?
Also, were there major problems and recalls associated with it?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Good morning all. I thought webber would be still awake in anticipation of delivery. Webber, please tell us how the new girl goes through her paces especially with the 8 speed box. Tell us how smooth the transmission is, the sound and of course any other points of interest.

Please do keep to less than a thousand words - please... and don't use phrases like:

"Man, what a ride - you don't know what you're missing out on"
"An amazing drive - you just got to drive it - it's unbelievably heaven"
"It's better than se"
"You're crazy if you don't get behind one"....etc, etc.

...please??

GOOD MORNING ALL:
All up early in the WEBBER household. The wife has been a jeep widow for so long she is now pleased to live in a polygamised household. The wedding is due to take place as 10.30am. She is looking forward to sharing our home with "Patience".

The current diesel engine has been down under for quite a while - since the MY12. I haven't heard any negative about the engine but I must say,

What a ride - you don't know what you're missing out on - it's an amazing drive, you just got to drive it. It's better than se!

Sorry, I couldn't help myself...

As regards to the delays in US for delivery of the diesels I think it's probably attributed to the fact that Australia is getting all of them for now.

Sorry... Did I tell you that the diesels are fantastic to drive - quicker than the V8 (sans SRT) and half the fuel consumption (almost)???
