Hey Webber

All the best for today u very lucky man!! I went to dealer & picked up a Jeep yesterday! I'm sure u will love it! The JGC Rock!!

Only issue is the Jeep I got was a loan car until Monday or Tuesday when ours is ready. So I got a 2012 CRD Laredo, I haven't driven the CRD before & I must say compared to my Wrangler CRD the engine is amazing!! So although I'm still to scared to get another CRD I can see why people are raving about them. Very smooth!!

Again good luck today & can't wait to see the photos! My white JGC Overland will have to stay locked up at the dealership Pre delivery for the time being!

Thanks in advance for your input.
Jeep AU were very quite initially about the CRD. Mine is one of the first built 6/30/11. The supply was and still is VERY hard to get. There was no delays only limited supplies.
However the '14 launch has been poorly handled a bit like the CRD launch in the USA. Lots of rumors, denials from Jeep and nothing confirmed. Dealers and clients have no info, then whammo, they appear on the dealers floor.

The CRD is an AWESOME motor and worth the wait

Mrmaker, i cannot agree more with you, this is a great vehicle that is more then competitive in pricing, cudos to Chrysler Group LLC .I do note that a few pages on this thread have passed since your post and yet no one seems to have acknowledged it. It seems most BUT not all members in this thread live in their own universe and cannot see beyond their rear ends. Good luck to the dealers that will have the unfortunate task of dealing with these nobbs post purchase as it is quite evident nothing will satisfy them. To the few of you and you know who you are, happy Jeeping!

Webber, enjoy your new toy. My schedule changed otherwise I would have bumped into you at Werribee Jeep. Make sure you share some photos.

Ok, trying to figure out what all the differences are between a laredo and a limited, so far I have.
GPS
20" wheels versus 18
Power lift gate
Leather seats
Better sound system
Rear seats heated
Rear seats USB port ? Air con controls?
Memory seats memory mirrors
Powered steering wheel with position memory
Lighter timber trim on dash
Tinted glass
Courtesy lights in footwell s perhaps?
Edit 1. Front and rear parking sensors

Anything else?

Yes we all agree the my14 range is fantastic and that is why most people on this thread have had the faith to pre order and to wait, but you seem to miss the point of the banter that has gone on , customers who are prepared to take up the companys offer and put up their hard earned should ( and rightly so ) be shown some respect in return by atleast keeping them informed about their purchase . I know that these days companys don't like to give away secrets but come on a simple " yes it's all going as expected, we can supply these options etc" instead there has been * no info * misleading info " we have your money now bugger off until we feel like telling you something" . Now they have finally got it together and bam! here it is, and yes it's wonderful and yes l will be buying one but don't think for a minute that the poor treatment that has preceded this hasn't left a bad taste in a lot of mouths and customers have every right to stand up and make jeepau accountable for their behaviour and attitude towards their very loyal followers and to those who sadly had to let go of their desire to own a jeep (this time round alanqld)
And l don't think you do anyone credit ( yourself included) by refering to people as nobbs very poor taste.
