Then the 14s will land and the dealers can just keep getting their full RRP ( for the CRD at least)
You sound like my husband Robo

So, in prep for our visit tomorrow to order one, is there any where on this forum that gives me a colour choice that will be available in Aus? The dealer has told me previously that he does not have the colour options available to Aus yet. Can someone link the possibilities for me so I at least have some idea even though it might not be set in stone?

I would presume the colours will be the same as available in the USA.

Milous also compiled this info on the other thread.

2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Also as a side note, if looking at the overland, you should be paying no more than about 76k people are getting deals from 72k up to about 76k. Don't let then BS you with an 80k price. I am talking drive away.

You evil thing you. I just want my new Jeep. Husband of course will argue the issue as you suggested - $70-$76 Yep, he would be happy with that. Best not show him your post.

Let me reiterate - I WANT MY NEW JEEP.

Hey, but what happens if I've already forked out my 70 plus grand. These Overlands are due to hit Aus in June/July and dealers all over the country are telling customers to order the Overland because there AINT NO SUMMITS COMING. I hope we get news about that Summit before the dealers start ringing customers to tell them their Overlands are ready for collection. That would be really bad when some of us actually want Summits. They wouldn't want to launch the Summit some months later. That would have to be a deception...obtaining a financial advantage by deception.
Lets hope this is clarified before those Overlands arrive at our dealers.

The colours on Jeeps US site are pretty crap, there are a lot of "walk around"' motor show clips and test reviews on YouTube that give you a better look at the colours.

And Milous site.

Have not heard of anyone getting below retail on an MY14 (CRD) some dealers are signing people up at current RRP with a clause that it may go up $1-2k, others are signing people up at higher "made up" prices. drive away price also depends on state but you can visit jeep.com.au and put in your postcode and it will tell you current RRP drive away for the model selected.

Let us know how the wheelin and dealin goes..

Yes, our dealer whilst not being able to give a price, told me that he expected at least a 2-3k increase on the current models they had in stock. That's fine - he was being honest so no surprises there. Shall let you know how we go.

I have not driven one but did own a MY10 Audi Q7 with 8 speed auto and the same 3.0 TDI but the turbo lag was horrendous.
ok, thanks Robo. You would know. It's just that my eyes wander from time to time. I should not even consider breaking up my affair with Jeep but it's been soooooo long waiting. It is really testing. An Overland in July or is it wait even longer for that mysterious SUMMIT to appear in Oz. It's Rediculous all this secrecy. Milous has seen two or perhaps 3 Summits now heading to Melbourne. What are they up to at Chrysler HQ? Are they considering introducing it or are they going to be just play things for some top executives at Chrysler.
