Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Has anyone got confirmation if ORAII can only be optioned in conjunction with quadra lift in a Limited?

A comment worthy of an "official" thanks.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I have just got the Build Sheet for my Overland CRD (with ORAII). It has nearly three pages of equipment list with associated codes - interesting reading!

Most of the items are self explanatory, but it would be great to see a more detailed description of them. I haven't seen anything like that referred to on this or other 2014 related forums - does anyone know whether that information exists somewhere?
An example is "Mopar Splash Guards" code MEJA. Does this mean Mudflaps to us, because most opinions I've read seem to think they are dealer fitted at best.

Hey,

I have a white wrangler and even with heaps of bush work & things hitting the paint it still looks like new!

It's true! I have a 91 model GQ Patrol in white. With 2 inches of mud on it, it still looks clean - well maybe I'm exaggerating a wee bit - but white is very forgiving. My wife's care is a dark coloured Ford. Keeping it clean is like the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Once we finish cleaning from the front to the back, we then have to start all over again.

Again I may be exaggerating a bit but those who have owned white understand what I mean. Like someone said in a previous post, White is the new Black!

Well you learn something new every day Frad. I would have thought the opposite.

They look good together don't they. You must be chuffed...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I just replaced my white falcon with a dark grey (similar to the GCs granite)
The grey hides the general shit better than the white did.
Our black Pajero is the opposite, it enhances the dirt.
Might be the type of white or paint, but the white falcon looked crap when it got slightly dirty.

One of my reasons for wanting the Billet Silver was to help it look better for longer.
Also to hide any scratches better than the darker colours.

SNUKE, I stand corrected. Strangely enough the only other colour that "hides" the dirt as well as white (or better than white according to SNUKE) is Grey/Silver.

For those who have dark coloured Jeeps ordered, you may be interested in buying a couple of these in readiness of your delivery: Wax & Rinse Aid
