So, doing a comparison between our WK 2007 Hemi and our new WK2 CRD.

WK has the traditional V8 burbel and sounds like the classic American lovely V8 sound.

WK2 CRD Overland has the diesel rattle to it - no doubt about that. It's not like a truck sound but definitely the diesel sound. Not when you're inside - you can't hear it at all but outside yes, it's a rattle (but not a bad thing - just different).

We definitely prefer the sound of our WK Hemi. It's just throatier (is that a word?)

Husband says that he can absolutely hear the difference between the vehicles when I drive up and he is sitting in his office.

Cheers.
Seriously? Have you looked at the previous page where I replied to your earlier question and supplied pics of the MY14 Limited with the light interior and a link to the dealer that took the pics?
All the info you are asking about has already been provided.

That's the problem with this thread - it has got too long and information gets lost. I feel for you Snuke.

People - if you want to start a new topic, insurance, interior colours, whatever - start a new thread.

Or better yet search previous threads.

Hang on Col, dont deprive me of my OCD on this site.

Besides, I feel needed here. My shrink says I should have an outlet for my OCD and this is it m8!!

So this thread stays as long as my shrink says it stays! OK???

Heres some very important pics from Webber man for all you other JGC MY14 OCD's to ponder and appreciate.

Dont worry about COLCRD (is that a Colorado crd, do we have a MOLE in our midst??)

Webber will explain the individual features of these photos of his White Knight.

No mole. Its just sibling rivalry. My MY13 is struggling to cope with the new child in the house

There is still good info being posted here hymer, but why not start a 3M protection thread so this does not get lost?

Thankyou Hymer for posting these again. Rob (Hymer) has also sent me some further advise re posting pics so I will give it a try. However, before I do that I will send a few more to Hymer so as they are up here quickly.
All these pics were taken this afternoon. They are deliberately taken to expose the line and yet the line only appears on one .....and that is in the top row on the far right. Hopefully my posting on the 3M was helpful to some. You may also have read Allhpally's remarks. Whilst I am happy with what I have now done it is too early to report on this experience. The film has very little impact on the appearance of the car. It is not worth worrying about. As I said on day one, yes you can see it but once you stop staring you just don't notice it. Hopefully Rob will post the next lot which I have deliberately taken to highlight the line in its extreme. Rob, over to you.

Jokes aside, here is an interior pic labeled 2011 Limited, so I would see no reason that they would change the scheme to darker for light interior.

You can see more interior pics here
2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee | Interior Leather Seats & 6 Speakers | Jeep

Edit: just found these taken by a dealer listing.
This makes me much happier about going the lighter interior.
It looks great and lightens up the entire car inside.
Thanks for that, but I do hope this is the colour we can get here in Aus. I agree it looks fantastic. The black is ok for some but just think how hot it will be inside after you park outside on a hot summers day, remember of course you need to sit in the drivers seat to start the car... Ouch

Final batch from Webber.

Then back to the contest.

Which contest is that??

Julia or the Blues, both lost I think.

More pics above posted on my behalf by Hymer. Thanks mate.
Keep in mind that most pics I have taken do not show the line. These were deliberately taken at angles to show the line at its max. On the top line of pics with the full frontal you will not see anything because there are no lines other than below the fog light where it has been cut out around thefog lamp and joins up again below the fog light.
Second line shows the fog lamp up close. Believe me, I had washed and run a chamois over this spot for 8 days before I noticed this line.
This time the roof line is exposed.....it is nothing...this is a worst case pic.
