Welcome Robbie! I too have recently joined and must admit this site is a bit addictive, these guys (and gals) have so much knowledge regarding everything Jeep. They know much more than the Dealers do. My Jeep a GC Limited is a few weeks away so have to wait until early October, good to hear yours is so close, two weeks will go in a flash...

Includes ventilated seats and axis perforated Nappa leather trim.
The Nappa is so much nicer. Go to the dealer, feel the standard leather on the Ltd, then go touch the Nappa in the Overland. Night and Day.
Easy $700 upgrade, and now you have that as you have dumped the silly protection pack.
As you can see it also includes seat ventilation which is a nice subtle feature in the stupid hot days.
As soon as we touched the Overlands seats we new we had to get the Nappa.
Hi again Snuke, forgot to comment on the CD thing. Is there anyone at head office that we could get in touch with and all of us concerned insist that the make this dinosaur an option only, next thing you know they will be installing cassette players as well. Do you know if the USA models have the CD installed?
Cheers.

Has anyone else ordered this upgrade on a Laredo and been able to actually get it? If so, could you please tell me who was the dealer so I can get my dealer to contact them to sort this out.

I have my black beauty overland sitting in the driveway now. I guess the biggest drama with the whole experience of buying this jeep was that until I got to the dealership on Friday last week I didn't know 100% what I was going to be picking up. But when I walked in and saw my rego plate on the vehicle waiting, I knew she was right (finally).

Hi Trajcem, where'd you pick up your carnauba wax from?

Respectfully disagree. It looks like the VE but 35K is a lot of change over a grown up car

Punctuation can go along way.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

hello all,
well we finally done it. we ordered out 2014 Overland yesterday in Granite Crystal with adventure pack and mud flaps.
Not sure if I got a good deal or not but we are happy with what we paid and the service we got and that's what matters. I can defiantly say CJD staff at Nepean motor group were very good to us, especially our sales person Louis Lahoud. No one there even after sales extras tried to tell us what we did or didn't want, or try and push us into anything, and if they didn't know something the were straight up front with we "don't know yet" and tried to find out the correct answer instead of lying to us (which means a lot to me).

Now I have to try and decided what extended warranty we want, the jeep one or the dealer one.

Hi All, I'm a long time lurker first time poster of this very informative forum. I was looking to order an Overland CRD with off road adventure II pack but was told I could jump into an existing order and receive the GC sooner with the colour combo I'm after so long as I was OK not having ORAII. I know I can add the bash plates and 18" wheels after delivery but does anyone know (Milous?) whether the select-speed control can be added later? I would imagine that maybe the functionality would be there but just no button to activate it.

I remember having a Holden VS Commodore years ago that came without cruise control from the factory. I purchased an indicator stalk that had the cruise control buttons, swapped the indicator stalks, added a couple of extra wires into the PCM or BCM and all of a sudden I had factory cruise control functioning...

It's no deal breaker if it can't be added, I was just curious as to whether it would be as simple as adding the button to activate it.
