It wasn't standard on the MY13 Overlands... Maybe this is where the confusion is.

QD2 and QL were both standard on all 2011> Overland models (except V6 Petrol).

Does anyone have used gtechniq c1 for paint protection? I have a black ltd and I've been told that it will be easier to keep it clean.

The question I still seem to not be able to get answered is does the Overland CRD come standard with the trailer tow pack. By what I saw on the US site and on my build sheet I thought it did. But I saw a bunch of people ordering it with their Overland on the bulk buy group??

I think QuadraLift package includes Trailer Tow Grp (7 & 4 pins wiring harness + class IV receiver hitch). Dealer charges extra for tow bar/ball and electric trailer brake.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hi to One & All,
New to this forum, but a long time stalker, so as others have said, it is time to join in. Since my wife announced to me last October that she liked the square look of the Jeep GC & would like to purchase one I have been on a learning mission. I have questioned people (with WK GC's) in carparks, driveways, servo's etc etc & the one thing that I have found is that they ALL, bar none, love them, whether they have petrol's or diesel's, Laredo's or Limited's. Thanks must also go to this forum & it's forumites for all the good & bad views that I have read. Mind you some mechanics weren't so pleasant.
We were going to purchase Limited off the floor from our local dealer (who was very helpful) here on the coast a couple of weeks ago but after wanting a few extra's & advice from the forum, we settled on our very first Jeep!! A Bright White Overland due to the fact that it had the extra's already. Again we could have bought it from the dealer then & there, but I decided to try a broker, two days later he came back with a price from a dealer in Southern Sydney that our local guy couldn't /wouldn't get near. Now as the Tonsberg motors past our door as I speak, I expect to pick up our Webber equivalent (minus the diesel, extras) GC in two weeks time.
Thank you all again for the great advice I have found on this forum, for a soon to be first time JEEP GC owner.

Sorry my bad, looking at the Aus Jeep website it appears that QDII was optional for MY13 Overland. It looks like it was only packaged with the ORAII option.

http://www.jeep.com.au/compare-models-grand-cherokee

It must be listed as optional due to engine choice and was automatically spec'd with the relevant engine.

That is what I kind of thought mmcrh... Be curious if people buying the Overland and ordering the trailer tow grp are paying again for it..

I don't know, all I know is that my car did not come with it factory fitted. Part of my offer includes the tow pack but I have to return it to the dealer to have it fitted at a later date. I am thinking of dropping in tomorrow to see whether they are in a position to fit it in the near future...they may not have them in stock at present. Werribee Jeep want me to drop in the Mopar Accessory "Ambient Lighting" kit I purchased last year for my My12 which fell through as they want to view it and look at the instructions to give me an idea how and when they can fit it. They have not fitted one before. It is far superior to the Ambient lighting that comes stock standard in my MY14 CRD Overland which is just a small white light in the front footwell and under front seats with the lights directed onto the rear foot area. The kit I purchased includes extensive LED strip lighting that can be rotated through several colours.

What is the point of a trailer tow group without a hitch receiver ?
