Probably good idea to start a thread about this.

The ford option is probably best, you can have either for a small amount of money, and thus choose space or spare.

Make no mistake, there are lts of people who choose cars on storage space. For offroad, there is lots to be said for the swinging rear door so you can get 2 full size spares in a spot that doesn't take up space.

Presumably, Chrysler jeep figure they get more sales with the choice they have made, so are prepared to lose a few sales to gain many.
Hi All,
When I bought my current car (FORD FALCON XR50), I had the option of an full size alloy rim for $250, or the standard space saver spare tyre, which gives an extra 150mm of boot depth. At the time I considered I would get more use from the added boot space. On the other hand, you could be really unlucky and the only option you have is the tyre inflation kit - useless as tits on a bull if you have a flat tyre which breaks the tyre bead....

I had to use that kit three weeks after leaving Nepean Jeep. Cut in sidewall, it just sealed it long enough to get home.
It was a Sunday afternoon so no tyre shops open.
If the cut was any bigger I would have been stuffed.

I like bp the best from an economy point of view. I usually just use shell though because of the card.

Question Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Why on Used Cars - New Cars - Search New & Used Cars For Sale - carsales.com.au in the Research section do they state the GC Country of Origin as Austria????

Re CD Player

Has anyone come up with a solution to remove the CD player from the current GC?
Would sure like to flick that dinosaur when I get my new Limited. Also has anyone noticed any feedback from our friends in the US regarding this?

I use Caltex Vortex as often as I can. Definitely gives me better economy for 2 cents a litre dearer than normal diesel. Hope that helps

I believe that at one stage the export gc were manufactured by a contract manufacturer in Austria.

There was a thread started by the US guys about this ages ago and ended with no result.
I have just bumped it.

The Official "I want to remove my '14 CD Player" thread

Alex at Sutton told me yesterday he has a new buyer that is having an auto electrician coming in on Monday to see if they can figure out if it can be cleanly removed from the car they about to take delivery of.

I hate that we can't even order it without.
I will barely be driving it, but it drives me nuts.

I think the standard Laredo 18inch tyres are Michelins like in your photo but the 18inch tyres that are supplied with the ORAII are Kuhmo, according to people who have their cars with the ORAII pack (including Limited and Overland).
