To all new '14 owners, did your Jeep come with mud flaps or not. Not sure if this was settled or not. I pick up mine on Friday and the build sheet says yes, but I'm not convinced checking vehicles on display. None of them have mud flaps.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Was told by my dealer that mud flaps are standard. They are fitted at the dealer ship prior to delivery. Should be picking up my limited next week.

Just got off the phone to Alex at Waitara and I have to say, what a difference it makes to have a good dealer. My Overland came in on the Tonsberg so hopefully it should be at the dealership by the end of the week. 3 days to get it prepped with the extras and she will be all mine

They couldn't care less I'm sure, alanqld went down that track and at the end it was still the take it or leave it attitude.

I went with the group buy, really good deal compared with what I had and after waiting 8 months what's another 4.
why not name the dealer.

I've been dealing with Suttons City Jeep and they've been great. Pretty sure they're all owned by the same company. Someone said when I asked for recommendations that Suttons don't budge on price. I've gotta say they've budged to my liking. To be honest though since the deposit was paid they've been responsive, but no where near as response as pre-sale.

On another note, has anyone found any videos of aussies showing off their MY2014 JGC's on Youtube?

It will be interesting to hear what others report. My MY14 Overland came without them. Shannon said they are NOT standard but fitted them for FREE anyway. My car is back at the dealership having the Uconnect system checked out as to why VR is not working. Also having the towbar fitted and Mopar Ambient Lighting. Due to collect midday tomorrow. I hope the "ambient lighting" does not look too crappy! I am having it fitted because I actually purchased it direct from the States over a year ago for what was going to be my My12.

I know how you are feeling - mine came off the Tonsberg and should be at the dealer on Saturday. Hopefully pick up by end next week at the latest. Feeling excited.

Good news mate...that came around quickly I reckon. With my car I got it the day after Shannon received it so you might be able to get your hands on it as early as the Monday?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Our dealer agrees with Shannon (Webber's dealer) - mudflaps are not standard.

We may or may not get them retro-fitted. Doesn't really bother us.

Ripped some CD's and synch'ed the SD card today with music and tested it for the first time. It recognised it straight off and up came the music. Controlled it through VR no problem.

I love this vehicle. I mean I really, really love this vehicle. I just smile all the time when I drive it. It's outstanding so far - (looking for a piece of wood to touch and hope it doesn't make a liar out of me in the coming months).

My build sheet says "MEJA MOPAR Splash Guards" (MEJA is the code) - does anyone know if these are the same as mud flaps?

Just saw an ad on the tv for the my14. A white overland splashing across a ford. Same "don't hold back" music.
