Having said that, my research came across this site bowdensown.com.au This site will give you all the info you require regarding looking after leather as the type found in most modern motor vehicles, it also explains why you should not use some products like those used on saddles. Well worth reading, but remember it is a commercial site.

A quick look up on Leatherique I found this site roadflyforum.com where an owner of a BMW with Nappa leather came unstuck with this product big time. Seems to be a love / hate relationship with this product.

My in house expert (my wife) who has for many years been looking after her leather lounge by a using a damp chamois. To remove any stains she uses a little natural soap and water, seems to work well. She says that the main problem with leather is where your skin comes in contact with the surface and there is a transfer of body oils, eg wearing shorts on your new seats and placing your arm on the armrest ( maybe this is where a leather treatment could be used?)

As previously advised, whatever product you choose, try it first on a small area low down.

Hope this has been of some assistance to you.
Guess any product is subjective. I'm just commenting on the excellent results I've achieved over the years on various cars from Toyota, Volkswagen, volvo, Holden

And off topic might I say how fantastic the jeep napa seats feels! One of the most comfy leathers I've had yet

Thanks SNUKE Guess the manual is wrong when it states it can do kPa.. Guess I better learn what a BAR is so I can keep Baa Baaa happy. I know of a BAR that can keep me happy.

Thanks, I have tried upper, lower case & even put VIN in front of the number, but still no joy, I think AllyPally alluded earlier that I have to wait for the VIN information status to be added to the tracking sheet.
Cheers

For anyone else that is unfamiliar with the BAR measurement for pressure, by looking at an online convertor I have found a quick way of converting to an approximate PSI value. All you need to do is drop the decimal point and add 11. So 2.6 BAR is approx 37 psi... 37.70988 to be precise. This works for nominal pressures once you get to higher pressures like 2.8 bars you need to add 12.

Same here - cut and pasted my VIN straight from my build sheet (in uppercase), plus, if you replace everything after the "C" in the VIN with a "%" (wildcard) then you do get a large number of cars which have been loaded. Which at least indicates that the format is correct.

Do you have a delivery date on your contract? I was told that they have to deliver within 2 weeks of specified date ( and ASAP is not a valid date!)

Interesting seems I too have a problem with heating working on 1 side and not the other occasionally , it was all working okay until I used the VR system to change the temperature. Still happens even after I sync it.

Also does anyone have a fix for the VR navigation " voice recognition address not supported in this country " ( something along these lines)

Thanks!

Domo10 I wasn't given an allocation as such, just an Estimated Delivery date on the contract of 19/09/13.

Buster01 yes they have to give you a date and if they don't deliver then you have the option to cancel the order and a refund of your deposit. However if they "extend" that date by informing you then I guess you have to decide whether to go ahead with the order or not. Not sure what happens to your deposit in that case, but I suspect any decent dealer will give your money back.

In my case the dealer has told me of the delay/extended ETA. The part that pissed me off is that it took almost a month to be told they cant supply what I want as per the delivery date on my order. So 5 months from order, instead of 3 months. And who knows if the new ETA will happen?

I can hear that old adage in my head, good things come to those who wait!

I will be easier to convert to kPa which is a measurement available on all pumps. 2.6 bar = 260 kPa
