Love the colour, was going to get one - but would have to wait. So getting Bright Silver Laredo, CRD, Quada Lift. Had a Kluger- similar colour, was great out where i live in red dust country. Doesnt show the dirt.

Yeah - love the colour as well. A lot better than the white.

I wish the Winter Chill was still available as a colour on the '14s because that was my all time favourite.

At least white is called white. Beige on the other hand......... ( does match the bricks nicely though....)

I'd rate red and black as best , but hardest to keep best.

Yes - you're right. I love our red but ... drive down our driveway and the liftgate is so dusty you have to squirt and flip the wipers, which of course drips crap all the way down the rear. Let's not mention the lower panels on the vehicle. It is a really nice colour when it's clean but we cannot be cleaning it every two days.

Confession time: - I have got into the habit of taking the sleeve of my jumper or jacket each afternoon and as I stop to open and close the second gate, as I walk past the rear of the car, I just stop and remove the dust and polish the 'Jeep' badge at the back and also the 'Overland' badge. That's sad isn't it. At least they are shiny even if the rest of her isn't.

Oh well... it still is a beautiful colour and looks just like the marketing ads when it is clean.

I don't even acknowledge the Australian commercials. The US one's are so much better.

Anyway, Pharmaboy - how is yours going? Enjoying it still?

I think I'm going to be 'pinged' soon though, and I've never been 'pinged' in my 35 years since I got my license all those years ago (in an old Austin Gypsy no less). I found myself at 120kms this afternoon. How did that happen? It's just so smooth - it didn't feel like 40km's over the limit. (I was the only one on the road - maybe that was why) but I have to continually check myself.

80 kms which happens as soon as we leave our driveway and I continue on my merry way, just seems too slow. It's a problem I tell ya.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Yes mate, going great, so quiet and smooth, and is so hard to drive slowly off the lights lol.

A rattle in the dash is driving me spare, so I have to turn the stereo up. I received in the mail yesterday a 10ft by 5 ft gloss black 3m scotchprint roll of vinyl- so all white with alloy wheels might not be such a permanent situation. Loved the trailhawk the first time I saw or, and also the jet special editions - so that's where I'm heading .

Will be fully sic maaaaate - lol with a middle aged driver........

You had better set your speed warning - I'm sure I saw it under Settings the other day.
Great to hear that all are enjoying their rides - me too. Just got to get used to a diesel.

Yep - That's exactly what my husband said to me Colozzie. Set the speed control. OK.

'Tis lovely though isn't it.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hi all,
With regard to not being able to listen to text messages while driving, (seems strange seeing we can listern to the radio, CD/HD, or speak on the phone). My current ride is an LX Captiva CRD with factory DVD player, can't watch it while driving but can still listen to the movie, until the hand brake is raised just a little. I wonder if very light pressure on the hand (foot) brake would have the same result for texts received.
