This could be of interest to everyone.

Not sure if it will work for Aus cars.

I Actually just made a comment about that in the thread. I have no audible notification what so ever that I don't have my belt on. I just press ok to clear the evic screen that sais 'driver belt not fastened' or something to that extent. Is this not normal?

As I read this thread in my Dublin hotel room, I find myself wondering if anyone has tried the CD player with a DVD, to see if it is a DVD player, or is it just a CD player? I get mine in about 10 days..... giving me something to look forward to coming home to.

Hi iboughtajeep My wife's Captiva plays CD'S and DVD'S so i was also interested to see if it would play. So I went into the garage with a DVD ( Taken 2) put it in and bad news ( cannot read disc ) I was hoping there was a good use for this OLD technology.

Hi All

Just wanted to post pics of tires I swapped the day after I got my Overland. I have now driven on the Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/45R20 for two weeks on wet and dry roads and I am very happy with performance in wet as Jeep dealer said they would be slippery. There is no apparent increase in road noise with stronger construction and stiffer side walls.

Unfortunately both of those links are for the US, so many items aren't relevant.
For RHD markets refer to this link as to what our dealers might be able to get.
Items like mats are different to US because of the pedal layout.

Would absolutely love to see some pics of your canine baby's! And yes the seat cover works well for my 8 year old brother too whom is in love with the rear seat warmer .. Even on hot days lol
Our son (10) is also in love with the rear heated seats. First thing he says when he has friends in the car - 'check out these heated seats'

As requested pics of 'my puppies' which are not puppies any more. Willi (the Airedale) is 4 now and my poor old Winston (AKA Boo) is 12. I don't want to think about the fact that the average lifespan of a Springer is 13.

Excuse the pics though - trying to get a decent shot of these two is like pulling teeth. Neither of them understand sit still - I have a camera. I gave Boo a Schmacko though. Excuse Willi's beard - she had just shoved her face in the water bowl - an occupational hazard of being an Airedale.

ETA: We are very lucky to still have Willi. 5 months ago she decided to leap on a red belly black and took two strikes to the cheek area. She was with the vet for four days - twice he said he nearly lost her. Lucky indeed is that dog.

Your right Snuke only it was only posted to make people aware. I imported my Ambient Lighting and Summit grille direct from the US. Yep, I actually was computer literate enough to actually achieve that.

Used the rug for the first time today and had no issue with it slipping around.

Here is Bosco on it after a busy day at the horse show.
Saw a new MY14 Ltd CRD Black there.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Finally got to pick up our 2014 Cherry Red CRD Limited we ordered in January on Friday, and the wait was definitely worth it. Can't wait now for the weather to improve so I can tow the boat behind it.

Just one small issue, that I am hopeful someone has experienced before and can tell me how to fix, to save a call to the dealer tomorrow.

The issue is "I've lost anything appearing on the 8.4 u connect screen". It was all working fine until I stopped the car to look at the progress of the Adelaide oval rebuild and when I got back into it and turned it on, nothing appeared.

I hope someone can be of assistance, as I am having too much fun in it to return it to the dealer already!!!

You could try a reset of the Uconnect system. Hold down the Mute button together with the Tune button at the same time. It reboots Uconnect. Give it a go.
